One of the many highlights of doing the @_makersmarket is the people you meet on the day, visitors, customers and our fellow makers, we love to chat!
As a lover of Cheshire Cheese, you can imagine my delight when I discovered our neighbouring stall was @bournes_cheshire_cheese. Massive thank you to them for this delicious slab on Garlic and Parsley Cheshire Cheese, very much enjoyed last night with a cracker or two. The taste was incredible, proper creamy, with the delicious flavour of fresh parsley and garlic running through it. thank you! Im looking forward to creating a sauce with it later to smother some smushrooms on top of a slice of sour dough. Nom, nom nom.
Please keep an eye out for @bournes_cheshire_cheese when you next visit @_makersmarket, they do quite a few in and around Cheshire and have a little farm shop at their farm in Malpas. Hugo and Charlotte are the loveliest cheese makers I know. (Ok they are the only cheese makers I know but super people all the same)
We washed down the Cheese with a new tipple, also purchased from a fellow Maker @yantandrink. The most refreshing alcoholic sparkling water, exceptional. Thank you. You can order online as well as at the makers markets. Worth a look.

We will be on holiday for the next Makers Market in Sandbach in June, but hoping to be back in July and possibly book stalls in other areas too.

Rory & Rose, Summer Hand Tied Bouquet Workshop
This has to be of our favourite and most popular workshops from last year, delivered at our workshop HQ (@militaryarmssandbach ) and also at the homes of clients who booked us for a Rory & Rose @ Home event.
The formula is simple, we gather together beautiful flowers and foliage that celebrate the season, to create our bloom bar. We guide you through the process of creating your own hand tied bouquet, learning some useful floristry techniques such as conditioning, spiralling and reflexing. Selecting flowers from the bar, you create a gorgeous hand tied bouquet brimming with blooms, crafted by you.

Timings - Meet for breakfast at the Military Arms at 9.30am. Leave the Military 10.30, travel to Knutsford. Pick up from the show at 4pm back to the Military Arms in Sandbach.

Lovely to see Mum & Daughter duo, Lianne and Jaz, Rory & Rose top workshop attendee @calclyde and @chris_webbo21 who joined us for the first time (hope you enjoyed it) I’m sure you’ll agree their final designs were amazing,.

For Mum..
My beautiful Mum passed away 7 years ago. I think about her constantly and can’t deny there are many times when I ask her opinion or think Mum would have loved this! My goodness we created some memories over the years.
So in memory of my Mum and my wonderful Mum in Law, I will be creating a collection of very special grave wreaths. Please DM to order, the price will be £55 and we will make a donation to the McMillan Cancer care unit at Leighton Hospital where both Mum and my Mum in Law, received treatment and where Mum was a nurse for over 30 years.

Kick off the spring season and join us for a Rory & Rose Spring Wreath Workshop at the Military Arms in Sandbach.
Spring is just around the corner and to celebrate we are holding not one but two Rory & Rose Spring Wreath Workshops.
The perfect opportunity to take a couple of hours out of your daily routine to immerse yourself in the art of floristry. Relaxing, therapeutic, absolutely it is. Working with an array of seasonal flowers and foliage you will learn how to create a wonderful textured and colourful door wreath or table arrangement that screams "It's Spring!"
We've had a few requests to offer workshops on a week day. Perfect for those busy parents who can grab a couple of hours whilst the kids are at school to do something for themselves. Or those of us, whose weekends are busy and a week day workshop is just the thing. The weekday workshop is on Friday 1st March, 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
Last year, this workshop booked up very quickly, so we are offering an additional date, Sunday 3rd March. This workshop will start at 1.30pm and once again held at our workshop HQ, The Military Arms.
