Steel City Flowers With 20 years of experience, I teach Feel Good Floristry sessions both for floral fun and as a complementary therapy.

I also design & create personal and meaningful floral tributes for funerals or celebrations of life as part of my role as a Celebrant.

A beautiful thank you for a recent Celebration of Life which I had the privilege to write and conduct.
How heartening to know the difference a good funeral ceremony can make.
"We as a family just wanted to say a great BIG thank you for your beautiful service on Friday.
It absolutely summed her up in just a few paragraphs and the congregation in attendance learned so much about her that they never even knew.
For your portrayal of her we are eternally grateful."

My last ceremony of 2024 will be to Celebrate the Life of a wonderful woman who faced so much loss and grief in her own life.
To feel the sheer depth of love, comfort and warmth amongst her family and the strength of their bond is moving and uplifting.
To create a Ceremony is, as always, a privilege and done with my heart.

Yesterday we were super busy all day making door swags at Festive Feel Good Floristry sessions at Weston Park Cancer Support Centre and they look gorgeous!

Thursday is a Full of Festive Feel Good Floristry at Weston Park Cancer Support Centre!
I'm running two sessions, they are fully booked and as a change we are making gorgeous swags to adorn your home or door!
Looking forward to festive floral frolics and definitely a mince pie through the day.

And a big THANK YOU to all those who donated baubles and decs for these and the kids' sessions - you're on the Nice List for sure I reckon x

We made decidedly different door wreaths!
Mixed up the traditional spruce with the addition of plants...ivy, heather and white narcissi for a very natural feel.

Celebrations of Life are such an important part of my work as a Celebrant and Florist, and the way we are choosing to hold funerals is changing so much at the moment!
Direct cremations where there is no funeral are becoming more and more popular - but then how do you say goodbye to a loved one?
As a Celebrant I work with a number of friendly, accommodating and welcoming Sheffield venues where together we can create a personal and meaningful Celebration of Life separate from a cremation or burial.
Let's bring everyone together to share our memories of a loved one - we all need to be able to say goodbye and everyone deserves a farewell x

A lasting message...
Here's a lovely idea for a Celebration of Life or a funeral service to add a personal touch and meaning to the service.
A message tag to write a private few words of farewell during the reflection time of a ceremony and which can then placed with the coffin before leaving the chapel.
A quiet, thoughtful and heartfelt wish.
