Very interesting couple of days as a member of The Entertainment Agents' Association Ltd
Tuesday we were invited to join a zoom meeting where a selection of bookers from the holiday park business spoke to members advising us of their product and needs. Definitely something we will be following up here at SQP Live
Today saw our Director Simon Quarmby head to London for the monthly TEAA.uk Council meeting. As a long standing Councillor and past President, he sits with fellow Councillors, all highly respected individuals from successful agency business’ to discuss matters concerning our industry and helps formulate plans for the continuation of this wonderful business called Show!

Bfest is the incredible third edition of a family focused music festival, held in Braithwell at the Ruddle Centre Playing Field. This year's event will be held on Saturday, 30 July from 12:00 - 10:00pm and everyone is welcome.

Now the dust has settled on the festive period and belts tightened through January, we are happy to let you all know Friday 18 February will be the night to come and have a 'ruddy good laugh'.. Had the pleasure and privilege of supplying the live entertainment to last nights Celebration For Business event at Magna Science Adventure Park on behalf of long standing client Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber. What a great night it was and seeing so many people enjoying themselves was ‘a tonic’ . Well done to Undercover Waiters and Four Authors and of course the events teams at the Chamber and Magna.

Yesterday was the first public event at the newly refurbished Ruddle Centre co-promoted by BMRLA (the board of directors managing the centre) and SQP Live.
And what a night it was! A room full of people from the local community and their guests enjoyed an excellent pie n pea supper supplied by Rotherham Hog Roast Company, an insightful and comical after dinner set from ex international goalkeeper Mark Crossley along with the brilliant John Gillan who appeared as both MC and comedian. Not forgetting Ian Robinson and his team who did a first class ‘to table’ bar service throughout the evening.
Nothing but compliments received during the evening and post event today! Thankyou to everyone who attended and we now move forward full of confidence for future events, the first of which is Ruddy Good Laugh Comedy Club on Saturday 2 October… (tickets available via eventbrite search ‘ruddy good laugh’ )

Our Director Simon Quarmby along with represented Dean Andrews and fellow agency colleagues recently completed Sheffield to London cycle ride for several charities. Our local press did a very nice write up on it... Simon & Dean's chosen charity was Rotherham Hospice and the final amount raised will be announced soon - its already over £3,000 and climbing

EMMERDALE actor Dean Andrews got on his bike alongside his agent to ride all the way London.

A statement from Crissy Rock:
Regarding the ITV scamming interview yesterday. I wish to let everyone know I was scammed however it was last year so all the venues I am appearing at in 2021 are going ahead - these are not scams.
Simms Cross Community pub widnes Friday 25th June I will still be appearing. My comedy tour from September is still going ahead. I also have other dates in the diary in Liverpool, Hull, Skegness and more so if anyone was worrying about me not appearing anywhere in the future it has been misinterpreted and wrong. As I said the scam was February 2020 however the interview was only aired yesterday and caused the confusion.
