The world is a crazy place- these last few months even more so! Full of expectations, peopleโs opinions and the unreal life of social media/internet.
You may think I just teach children to dance/perform but for me it goes far beyond that... I believe in and want to teach so much more. I am honoured to stand in front of the future generations and teach them skills to achieve their dreams, whether that be performing for fun as a hobby or to pursue a professional career. The biggest change I love to see is CONFIDENCE and SELF LOVE! Walking through life with your head held high, knowing you can take on anything you believe in is the most unstoppable feeling. With so many misconceptions of whatโs โbeautifulโ in the public eye, it becomes an obsession to alter our appearances in order to seek whats deemed โperfectionโ. But what is important is the beauty of how you feel within.. whatโs inside your mind, body and soul. Role models for our future generation should be promoting self love before anything else and at MMPAA, that is what we do.
Things as little as a performing arts class, telling the children how amazing theyโre doing, being their number 1 fan and biggest cheerleader from the minute they walk through our doors, is all part of building that drive and confidence Iโm sure we all as adults wish we could invoke on ourselves too occasionally. All these things are key to making you stand out, shine and succeed. Everyone is beautiful in their own way but walking through life knowing this in your heart will set you apart from the rest.
Every star in our night sky is different but they ALL shine in their own way. Make a wish on a star tonight, it might just come true ๐๐โจ L x
