Bromwich Park is a working farm situated in the rural county of Shropshire, close to the beautiful Welsh borders near the historic market town of Oswestry and just a 90 minute drive from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham

Surrounded by open fields, Bromwich Park is a wonderful place to host your wedding party or special event, full of quirk and character, with the freedom and flexibility to ens

ure your celebration is just as you would wish. We also offer luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in tbeautifully converted Granary Cottage which sits at the heart of the farm. Your friendly hosts Nicholas and Julian live in the main farmhouse and are on hand to assist you with any wedding planning or holiday advice you require. Weddings & Events

For a venue as unique as you, Bromwich Park Farm offers you the exclusive use of a range of indoor and outdoor spaces which are perfect for creating your own rustic, festival style celebrations which can be as formal or informal as you like. The place will be yours to create your perfect party - decorate it in your style, choose your own catering and play your own music. The Cow Barn is a large open space, a blank canvas which can be decorated. Perfect for a reception with live bands and dancing . It is a good size for 50 - 200+ guests . We run a well stocked bar with reasonably priced drinks and a late license. We have a low corkage charge if you wish to bring your own wines, etc. The Milking Parlour is a cosy, bohemian party room, lounge and bar retaining original milking features where you can dance into the night up to 2am. Between The Cow Barn and The Milking Parlour is the ivy covered paved Courtyard Garden, with pergolas, seating areas and raised beds created from recycled railway sleepers. This space is perfect for champagne receptions, ceremonies or performances. The Granary Cottage at the heart of the farm makes the ideal luxurious nest for you to escape to throughout the celebrations. We now have a full wedding license so you can have your official marriage ceremony on the farm with a local Registrar in our new Stable Ceremony Room or in The Cow Barn or, if weather permits, outside in the Courtyard or on the Promise Knoll, or you can also create your own wedding ceremony with a Celebrant. There are also registry offices in nearby Oswestry and Shrewsbury and a beautiful small church in Maesbury where you can have your legal ceremony. We have a Camping Field in front of the house for guests who like to sleep under canvas or in camper vans, with a campfire and barbecue area. Camping guests can also make use of the camping kitchen and showers in the old stable block. If glamping is more your style, we can also arrange for fully furnished bell tents to be set up ready for you as well as 3 simple caravans in our Orchard. There are also plenty of hotels and B&B’s for guests in the surrounding area. We only host a handful of wedding parties each year at Bromwich Park. The venue will be yours for the whole weekend so you won’t feel rushed. Your hosts, Nicholas and Julian are always happy to offer any assistance or advice you may need to make your event run smoothly

The Granary cottage retains the rustic charm of the original farm building, beautifully restored to create comfortable and well-appointed self-catering accommodation with all modern comforts. The cottage is welcoming, cosy and full of rustic charm with tasteful furnishings and decor reflecting its country setting providing relaxed and luxurious accommodation for up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. With original oak beams and reclaimed wooden paneling, the ground floor is open plan with a handcrafted redwood kitchen that is fully equipped as you would expect. There is a dining area and cosy living room with a wood burner. An eco, wood-pellet underfloor heating system also provides constant hot water. Upstairs you will find the stunning master bedroom, with exposed beams, a bespoke rustic oak 4 poster king-sized bed, and views across the fields and the beautiful courtyard garden. There is also a comfortable twin bedroom and a main bathroom with bath/shower. Large stable doors from the kitchen and lounge open out to your private patio. There is access to a larger, less private, courtyard which is the perfect spot to make the most of the summer sun. There is also an enclosed, sheltered and private area by The Orchard where you can relax and children can play safely and a barbecue area in an adjacent field. Although it is close to The Farmhouse and the adjacent Coach House accommodation , The Granary cottage feels completely private and is not overlooked at all . Facilities include;

We've been very busy hosting weddings this summer and have got very behind with sharing our reviews and pics !

Sarah & Matt got married on the farm on a sunny Saturday back in June 2023

"Thank you so much to Nicholas, and the team at Bromwich Park for helping us have our dream wedding on Saturday. We really couldn't have asked for more!
From helping us with the planning, answering endless questions, accomodating visits with family to even sourcing a keg of real ale! They made it all really easy. Then on the day the team seamlessly helped the day run to plan and were a friendly face at the bar, keeping drinks topped up throughout!
We have received so many compliments for the venue with many saying it's the best wedding venue they've ever been to. We loved the range of spaces we had to work with from the gorgeous green courtyard for the ceremony, the spacious Cow Barn for dinner and band and then the quirky Milking Parlour for late night dancing!
Having the Granary Cottage on site for bridal party prep and for close quarters on the wedding night was a fantastic perk.
Special mention to Valerie the cat who seems to be popping up in all our wedding photos, we love her 💕 Would recommend Bromwich Park to anyone getting married in Shropshire!"

"We celebrated our wedding at Bromwich Park Farm in June and I can honestly say it was the best day ever!
In the lead up, Nicholas and Julian were so helpful, assisting us with visits and planning to ensure everything ran smoothly and we had a relaxing day with no worries (which was a big deal for me being an event organiser!).
On the day, they couldn't do enough from assisting our wedding coordinators with suppliers, ensuring we always had a drink and joining in with our guests who absolutely raved about them both and the venue!
I couldn't have asked for a better venue, it was everything I dreamed of and more.
Even though the venue is DIY, Nicholas and Julian are a great support during the planning, set up and on the day.
Thank you both so much, we wish we could do it all over again!"

"Nicholas and Julian's venue is absolutely perfect, and we cannot thank them enough for helping us to have the best day of our lives.
Where to start? The beautiful Ceremony Stables, the wonderful Cow Barn, the courtyard and The Milking Parlour for the after party! The Milking Parlour really had the desired effect - ''our very own private pub'' one guest declared! It was the perfect quirky place to dance the night away!  
Nicholas and Julian are such wonderful hosts and take pride in everything they do and so many little things have been thought of. The beautiful Granary Cottage was also just perfect for my mum, my sister and I to get ready and for Karl and I on the wedding night. We loved all the quirky pictures particularly the ungrateful lamb!
Nicholas and Julian got fully involved on the day and you can see how much they love to see it all come together as much as we did!
Everybody has commented on the venue and so many people said it really was the best wedding ever! We just wish we could do it all over again! "

"We couldn't have asked for more from a wedding venue and had a perfect day at Bromwich Park Farm back in August 2022.
The venue is tucked away in the stunning Shropshire surroundings and as we had got legally married the week before, we were able to shape the day to look exactly as we wanted it to.

The outdoor ceremony, canapes in the courtyard, food in the Cow Barn - there are so many options and ways of doing things at Bromwich Park that you are really safe in the knowledge that you are going to be putting on a really unique experience for your guests.

Having the freedom to make of the venue what we wanted was great, and one of our favourite elements. It's worth bearing in mind that you'll need a team of willing volunteers to help you bring it all to life when you're setting up and also that the number of volunteers is going to drop off significantly when it comes to cleaning up after the party!

Nicholas was always on hand to answer our many questions in the build up to the big day and he and Julian, along with the rest of their team worked tirelessly on the day to ensure that everything ran smoothly. And the surprise of the Milking Parlour, which is held back until the final hours of the party, went down an absolute treat with every one of our guests.

If you're looking for a unique, quirky, interesting and just quite special venue for your celebration then we couldn't recommend Bromwich Park Farm highly enough."

"Poppy and Jack's wedding was Perfect.
At Bromwich Park there is no 'pseudo rustic'. It is the genuine article! From Friday to Monday, we had THE most amazing time. There was enough space for all the friends and family, but everything close enough so that it was accessible to all.
Nicholas and Julian were always there for assistance, but never intrusive. The facilities for the caterers were spacious and those of us camping had an extremely well equipped campers' kitchen. Top notch accessibility toilet in the super spacious Barn and everywhere on a level.
On the field, the campfire was a wonderful addition to the fun and the crowd of children we had over the weekend, did not need entertaining or entertainers. The hill, the logs to clamber on, the hay bales and each other, were enough to keep them more than happy.
The Granary cottage offered a haven for Poppy and Jack to be with the Bride's Ladies and Groomsmen - and each other.
The crowning glory, of course was The Milking Parlour late night club area; inspired, creative and JUST the perfect quirky place to dance away the late night hours.
Don't change a thing, Nicholas and Julian. You have, at your fabulous home at Bromwich Park, created the perfect recipe for a REAL, relaxed country wedding. Thank you."

Massive Congratulations to Jack and Laura for being our first official marriage/civil partnership ceremony on the farm , at the start of our 7th wedding season.
The sun was shining so they had the ceremony with the registrar in the courtyard and didn't even need to use our beautiful new Ceremony Stables !
It was a long festival style weekend wedding, with 200 guests, 100 campers, 20 luxury tipis, a campfire and quiz on the Friday night and dancing in the Milking Parlour until 3am on the Saturday. This crowd certainly had some staying power !

"Bromwich Park was our dream venue and a huge part of what made our Wedding Day so special.
We were there from the Friday all the way through to Monday and would have loved to have stayed even longer! Between the Barn, the Courtyard, the Cottage and the Campground (complete with a flotilla of tipis) there was somewhere for all times of the day and all weathers.
We had so many comments from our guests, caterers and band about how amazing the venue was and we couldn’t agree more. It was the perfect space for the perfect wedding.

"We got married at Bromwich Park Farm on 24th July 2021!
It honestly is the most amazing venue and was perfect for us.
We loved how quirky it was and Nicholas and Julian really have created something special. Our guests were blown away by the venue and the atmosphere.
After postponing our wedding from our original wedding date 4th July 2020, Nicholas was so reassuring and laid back throughout what was such a stressfull time. We heard horror stories of other couples venues being tough on them but we were so glad we chose Bromwich Park Farm.
If you're wanting a venue that is relaxed, quirky and just lets the love flow, you need to pick Bromwich Park Farm."

"When we first saw Bromwich Park, the things that really sold it to us were :
• The fact that we could have the wedding exactly how we wanted, without having to compromise on anything, which was an absolute breath of fresh air
• the Milking Parlour and late licence (finding a late licence was like looking for a needle in a haystack !)
• the glorious decor !
• the Granary Cottage and the camping
• reasonable bar prices so that we could treat our guests
• the countryside views
• the fact that it is a unique gem !
• it seemed extremely reasonable for all the things included compared to other venues we had looked at.

After the wedding the those things were still the stand out features, as well as Nicholas and Julian's bar service and easy going and helpful nature and providing ad hoc signs and decor bits and pieces last minute.
We couldn't be happier that we chose Bromwich Park Farm for our wedding.
It was absolutely the perfectly unique setting and we had so much fun.

"Honestly cannot recommend this wedding venue enough! As a bride I have never felt so at ease with the whole day.
Nicholas and Julian are the perfect hosts. From start to finish the process was so smooth. They recommended our caterers. Even when I forgot I needed table cloths they provided a solution to help me!
We had a lot of guests travel from all over the UK and they could not believe the wedding venue how special it was!
If I could do it all again I would in a heartbeat, it was such a chilled day.

We are back in the saddle !
We hosted a wedding at Bromwich Park this weekend for the first time since October 2019. It was great to have the farm filled with happy people again and to see everyone just enjoying being with their friends and family all around our beautiful venue.
The food from Moor Farm Shop Catering and Delicious Graze Pizza was particularly good.
We only had time to take a few snaps but I'm sure more will follow soon. . and Congratulations to Sarah and Steve , thanks for sticking with us through the last year.

After the latest slight relaxation of the rules on weddings we are really looking forward to our first wedding celebrations on the farm on 24th July, no matter what restrictions are still in place, and praying we can keep going for the rest of the summer.
It would be nice if the sun would stick around all summer too !
