Two set ups from today didn’t have anything else booked in as Was supposed to have the weekend off as was going away but had to cancel for personal reasons,

The 16th set up was a nightmare as it kept raining! But managed to get it up and stay together in the end! 💜 Happy 16th Poppy 💜

21st was created by Charlie in a packed out venue ready to watch football and she smashed it 2nd mini shimmer out in two days again small spaced venues are perfect for things like this 👌🏼

So i Spent a few hours destressing today doing my bit for the planet and recycled some spare pieces of an old shimmer wall to new panelling to make the most beautiful iridescent mini shimmer wall 🤩🤩

It was a really good idea to start with after the first 2 panels I then started to regret my decision but finished them all in the end will put it all together for a little preview tomorrow 👌🏼

Perfect for a mermaid theme party 🧜🏼‍♀️

What busy couple of days Friday and Saturday have been!

Things didn’t go to plan aswel as we had hoped
For this weekend unfortunately in business everything Doesn’t always go to plan like it’s meant to!

We scheduled all jobs in as usual with plenty of time for each and everything was going to plan until we hit almost 2 hour traffic that unfortunately is out of our control therefore it set us back on schedule so we sadly couldn’t make the last set up of the day Everything was explained to the customer she also had back up balloons to use 💞 but as I said it’s very hard to control things like traffic weather and things like that,

Also another thing I’d like mention was a wedding customer this weekend, all weddings / bookings are booked in advance deposits are all paid booking forms filled in and everything scheduled ready to go on the day. We always make contact with the client either the day before or on the morning of just to run through everything and talk about access times and so on, this one customer who had paid a small deposit had decided to not inform us that she no longer wanted to hire the items that she had booked and decided she just wanted to cancel upon us loading ready to deliver to her event!

I don’t take massive deposits as I didn’t think it was as necessary as people think but from this it’s made me think twice so I will be taking bigger deposits for weddings especially!

Why do I need to share this……..I like to share the good and the bad bits of running a business on here for people who follow my business as it’s not always plain sailing!

But on a brighter note 22 table balloons, 135 chair covers & sashes, 9 teepees built & beds made, Some lovely balloon displays later!! The last two days have been busy!

🌸🌸🌸 STOCK UP DATE 🌸🌸🌸

So as some people have seen we have been changing our style of stock,

Referring back to the post with the blossom trees

“Out with the old in with the new”

We are having a massive stock rotation and getting rid of loads of stuff that doesn’t go out much or stuff we have doubles of to make way for new updated and more versatile ranges that we can change slightly each time to make them different ,

Our warehouse is full to the brim and we need to make some room so you will see a lot of our stuff up for sale but please don’t think we are selling up!

I’m going to focus on pushing package bookings rather than individual items for people who need help deciding what they want for instance for a birthday party we are creating party packages that consist of :

LED numbers
Neon sign
Shimmer wall
Balloon garland
Table balloons
Mini bubbly walls
Card box
& Cake stand or cake table dress

This will all make it cheaper than an individual price!

All new event packages are currently being made along with a brand new website 🤩🤩

Our stunning new blossom canopy arrived yesterday and we had a chance to unbox and get them up for photos this morning 🌸🌸🌸
