Well what a year it has been at L&B....

From working with celebs such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor , Emilie Sande, and Peter Andre to name a few, along with our annual gigs such PhoneyFest at The Concorde Club, the annual Lashes Ladies Lunch at the Ageas Bowl, and the chance to work with our irish friends The Kilkennys again (definetly not going to forget that gig!) We got the chance to work with some new clients such as Rachel Hawnt on her Divalution Show which was a massive success, and supporting Tom Ball with some recent visits on his show and his upcoming tour.

In the trucking world we got to show off our growing fleet at TruckFest in Shepton Mallet, we trucked for the likes of Jack Whitehall, Kool and The Gang, and tour with the ArenaCross back early this year. We even did some trucking for the Kings Coronation, which was a pleasure to be apart of. Thanks to our friends at Liteup, Solotech, Apple Peel Productions, Dan Cooper Motorsport and all our other clients who keep using our services.

To all our clients, followers, friends, families and supporters of our ever growing business, we wish you all a Happy New Year and we cant wait to see what 2024 brings.

Locks Heath Shopping Village

Wow what a day yesterday …. The weather really was on our side and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves with family and friends.

We welcomed 18,000 visitors; which was 7,000 more than last years light switch on which is an amazing turn out.

Big thanks to our retailers, market holders and food vendors …. It was our biggest market to date…. It’s just getting better and better!

To our performers you were all fabulous and so blooming talented 🎤🎬🎼

Special thanks to the stage and production team Lights & Beats - they work tirelessly to make it a great experience for you all.

The “real” Santa greeted customers young and old, thanks to Blake Entertainments Limited

Our gorgeous tree was kindly donated by J. West Christmas Tree Supplier and decorations supplied and installed by The Christmas Decorators.

Thank you to Michael our site Caretaker who worked a very long day putting up gazebos and clearing down during and after.

And last but not least big thanks to our wonderful customers - the site wouldn’t be what it is without you!! 🥰

This Saturday we host another Christmas market with food vendors too! …. More details to follow 🙂

The L&B Team had a great weekend spent in Shepton Mallet for the annual Truckfest. It was great to show off our whole fleet for the first time since having our DAF 26T added this year. We saw some incredible vehicles and had an amazing time. 💚🚚🚛🧡

This weekend Ollie and our DAF 26T is up at The Odney Club Hotel Resort, Cookham with the team from Apple Peel Productions to assist with their annual Rock The Manor festival. We provided our stage and cover for the 2 day event!

On Sunday we had the absolute pleasure of providing PA and engineering for Vicky Jackson as P!NK with her band. One of our favourite bands to work with. They rocked Eastbourne beach for a few hours and everyone had an amazing time.

Well… what a day the Lights and Beats team have had.

Both our Production and Transport Teams worked together today for our gig with The Kilkennys. Early this morning the band’s van broke down, so the Transport Team picked the van up and gave the boys a lift up, while the Production Team picked up the instruments and stands and took with them to the Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.

The Production Team loaded into the venue at 5pm, and with some hard work and plenty of sweat, the show was loaded, rigged, tested and ready for a 6:30pm house opening.

We are SO proud of both teams today, plenty of happy faces from the teams and the band!

A busy week for the L&B teams this week.

Jay and Simon have been busy on the Motorcross tour this week, taking on followspot positions for the show dates as well as the trucking!

Ollie has had a busy weekend with 3 gigs at the Concorde, providing full production for the Tribute Royalty show, the Elton John Journey and The Volume/Born Gaga band.

Whilst our trucks are having new trailers added to the fleet, the production side have been busy while we’ve hit a quiet spot in the schedule to give some of the kit a tidy up and a clean, so it’s all back to showroom new!

Some upgrade work has taken place on some of our amp racks too, making our ins and outs at gigs faster and better! Looking forward to future events…

What a crazy year we have had. Both the Production and Transport sides have been busy throughout 2022, all over the country with new shows & tours, new clients, meeting new people and pulling off some long days. All totally worth it. 🎉

We would love to say a massive Thankyou to all the people who have supported us throughout the year and many years to come. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings us, and also what we can bring to new and existing clients.

Monday night we provided audio for the annual Wessex Cancer Trust Christmas Concert. It was a lovley service, with choirs, flutes, celebrity speakers Brian Blessed, Clive Mantle, and Susan Valentine. Looking forward to next year already.

Thinking back to last month with our overnight install at The Concorde Club in Eastleigh. This was the first night they used the rig after the install, and we were so pleased how it turned out!
