- think stunning gardens all enclosed so all little ones are safe while you say your vows under a majestic oak tree, brilliant staff who will do everything in their power to make your day everything YOU want it to be! – the dreamiest setting for D&F’s wedding day which resonated so strongly with them: a place of nature, growth, colour and tranquility. It has a Bluebell Glade where you can hold your ceremony; need I say more? a place of nature and community where individuality, cosiness, good food and the joyfullest of times were had by J&C in a space that meant so much to this fab Vegan Couple who love their city. the epitome of class with such a delightful staff welcome and the most delicious cappuccino to help me settle in before M&T’s ceremony, which they organised from Perth, Australia. Beautifully decorated by Red Events, everything about the Titanic was flawless and elegant! The first wedding that was ever held here was for and organised by R&J, who came over from Brisbane, Australia with their friends and family, and organised it all from there. An beautiful rustic barn surrounded by lush garden and private lodgings, each with their own hot tub. The perfect spot for a wedding garden party! dog friendly, historic venue that can host wedding ceremonies anywhere on its magnificent grounds, indoors or outdoors – where the staff are so warm and welcoming – this venue is unbelievably dreamy, elegant and romantic with the house and grounds astoundingly beautiful - the perfect place to get married! mesmerising and enchanting, the rain wouldn’t go away during the ceremony but it did not dampen the joyful spirits of J&W and all their guests, with the staff there working tirelessly to look after everyone’s comfort and safety. a gorgeous tipi venue with twinkly lights, loads of rustic wood, hands on staff stopping at nothing to make a couple’s day phenomenally perfect. A magical spot to get married!

Aww what an evening lastnight at for their Christmas Memorial Service. It felt like such a gift to have been involved in this, especially when I got chatting with some people who attended. A reflective evening like this was unimaginably important for so many people - for some, they’d been on the hamster wheel of life since their loved one’s funeral and this was the first opportunity to stop and have a little cry while warming their hearts with memories they allowed in.

For many of the people who were there, it would have been tough walking back into the place that they came to in order to organise their loved one’s send off. And there are others who are in that awful and long limbo stage waiting for an End of Life Celebration to take place.

But if there’s one thing that can be said about the lovely family that run Glentrees Funeral Service, headed by Jayne and Sav - they have provided such a warm, safe and inviting place for people to come to. Their mission is to be a funeral service for the community - they really are a family that take care of other people’s families. With so many funeral directors in Liverpool going down the route of franchising, it’s so refreshing to work with such a dedicated family who are so invested in providing individualised support along with sincere care and compassion to every person who walks through their doors needing their help. And to add to this, they also have an incredibly talented niece that beautifully sang so many songs that were so touching for everyone -
