Today's job was a lunch for 22 people celebrating a young lady getting Baptised.

The young lady wanted all her favourite things, sweet and sour chicken, Prawn toast, duck spring rolls, chicken balls, rice and noddles, steamed broccoli, prawn crackers.

Then she had a brownie tower for pud and her favourite carrot cake for afternoon tea.

This evening was a delivery of a classic finger buffet for a couple celebrating 40 years of marriage. They had 100 people at there home for a evening of celebrations, but they didn't want to spend all afternoon making food.

arrived with platters of food just before the guests arrived. Laid it out for them and left them to enjoy the event with no hassle and lots of nice finger food for guests to enjoy.

Afternoon Tea for a group of ladies today. They wanted afternoon tea in the comfort of home but with the feel of a Hotel.

Out came the china, linen napkins, starched tablecloth and fresh flowers.

Meet the maker Monday.

Just thought with a new month staring and new people following and looking at the food I create and the reading the reviews from customers I would take the opportunity to introduce myself.

Im Tom, the man behind All Things Catered. I have always loved food, hospitality, le creuset and a chance to help people create memorable occasions.

I started my love affair with entertaining guests from a young when my parents would host parties and have a house full of people, it was the norm for us to have extra guests for many occasions.

During school days I was drawn to Food Technology as a subject I really enjoyed and was actually quite good at, my teacher encouraged me to think about catering college when I finished school. So off to Manchester Met I went and did a degree in Hospitality Management with Food Science, including a year working in industry, which I was lucky enough to do with Conran restaurants in London.

After uni I worked for a number of companies including Sainsburys, Starbucks, Center Parcs, Luton Hoo, Pudding Stop and Knebworth Golf Club always loving customers service and working with people.

Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to work for myself catering all kinds of events from Private Dining at Home, Birthday Parties, Weddings Buffets, Baptisms and Christening, Corporate meetings, Away weekends, Lunch Clubs, Funerals, Kids Party, Holiday Club and Afternoon Teas.

I love what I do and hope to continue to do it for many years. Thank you to all the customers who have used All Things Catered. "Creating memorable occasion for you and your guests" is my tag line and please do contact me if you thinking about catering for any future events.
