My newest acquisition is a beautiful big Cousances pot. (Cousances was a French cast iron company brought by Le Creuset in 1957) The 31 pot is a perfect match to the rest of the collection that's I have been building for 21 years.

My friends and family know how I collect this range and my love for it. My lovely sister in laws parents were looking for a new home for this big pot and they thought of me.

I now have to find space for other bits in the collection.

Tonight's delivery was a new one. Vanilla 5 layer Victoria sponge covered with black butter cream, black buttercream takes alot of colour but the customer was having a black and silver theme 21st so that's what was required.

2nd inspection and 2nd 5 Star. 😊 👍🏼 Working hard and being registered with the council is really important for food businesses. It makes me happy to know that as a small business I'm doing "very good"

The scores were fantastic, in a odd way I got 0 out of 80, the lower the better in this case. And I always enjoy the opportunity to chat with the experts and gain knowledge.

Ginger and Dark Chocolate cake that was for tea time after the lunch served yesterday. Rich ginger sponge cake with chocolate chips. Filled with chocolate fudge icing and ginger syrup the covered in more chocolate with ginger biscuits and edible gold glitter.

Lunch for a family celebration today. Bespoke menu and food for all tastes. Chicken and chorizo, Butternut Squash and lentil Dahl, garlic and rosemary new potatoes, coucous salad, rice salad and a warm green salad.

Followed by mini puddings, trifle, lemon posset, brownie, crumble.

Mango and Passion Fruit Cake going out this afternoon for delivery for a 60th Birthday tonight. 3.2kg of cake!!

Vanilla Sponge with Mango and Passion in the mix, mango juice buttercream and fresh mango in the middle and finished with fresh and dried mango.

After making 230 lunch bags for a Church Family Weekend this morning, little tea break then back to work.

Now just finished Classic lemon cake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. Adorned with edible yellow shimmer, and golden balls. Cake for a bright sunny autumn day. Ready for a Birthday Celebration tonight. 😊

Today's lunch club pudding was rich hot cross bun bread and butter pudding. Spiced ginger marmalade in spiced buns and soaked then baked in vanilla egg custard, served with lashings of cream. Perfect for a damp Thursday afternoon.
