Exciting news!

We're extending our opening hours. We know you can't get enough of us, so we're going to open at 08:30 on Saturdays (till 4) and will be open on Sundays from 10-3 in addition to our current hours in the week 8-5 Monday to Friday.

Come along 7 days a week. Starting from the 16th September.

Our new hours from 16th September 2024:
Monday to Friday 8-5
Saturday 8:30-4
Sunday 10-3

Our upper room is available for almost any purpose you want! Today the BBC are here doing camera training.
We can cater for your group either off the menu or with a buffet. Our buffets are also available for local delivery or for collection.

If you are looking for a meeting room, we have our upper room available.
It is available for one off meetings, events or celebrations. Or for regular events.
We have regular breakfast meetings and monthly lunch meetings.
We've had baby showers, engagement parties. In short, we can help with anything!

Today is the last chance to object to the latest roadworks scheme. Please raise your objections to give Stafford town centre hope. Businesses are unable to cope with the decreased footfall caused by roadworks.
Please support the town, object to these proposals and come in and support town centre businesses.

Things are really hard for all small businesses at the moment. Things are really hard for the hospitality industry at the moment. Things are particularly hard in Stafford right now, where roadworks are driving people away from the town centre.
The council want to start even more works! This would spell the end for many businesses in Stafford town centre.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line D1206A and let them know Stafford can't survive any more roadworks. It must be done before Friday this week (23rd)
In the meantime the town centre is still open, but traders need your support. Please come into town and support small businesses whilst they are still there. You'll miss them when they're gone.

A couple of customers expressed an interest in us being open overnight next Thursday, watching the election results come in. Is this something people would be interested in? Let us know!
We'd charge £5 a head for bottomless coffee, snacks and nibbles throughout the night. Soft drinks & maybe pizza, available to purchase at extra cost. Stay and buy breakfast in the morning too! All whilst watching the election coverage overnight. We'd open 23:45 on Thursday till 07:45 Friday.
If you'd be interested, simply message us and if it goes ahead we will let you know. It would be advance booking only & no walk-ins on the night. At the moment, we're simply gauging interest.

Over the coming weeks, various political parties (but not quite all of them!) are visiting us. Today, the Labour candidate, Labour Shadow Chancellor, Labour Shadow Business Secretary and lots and lots of press came to visit us to talk about the help they plan to give small businesses.

Look out for us on TV, on the radio and in good old-fashioned newspapers. We're even more eager for publicity than politicians!

Wherever we can, we like to use local suppliers. Our coffee is roasted in Shrewsbury by Iron & Fire. Coffee plants are unusual in that they have blossom, unripe & ripe beans all growing on them at the same time. When ripe, coffee beans are green, Iron & Fire then roast them to perfection in Shrewsbury (their roastery smells amazing!) until they are the golden brown colour we all know. They are left a few days to bring out the flavour and we grind them in The Coffee Bar fresh for each cup to maximise the taste.
Iron & Fire also train our staff to be baristas.
We will be featuring more of our local suppliers over the coming months. But come in and try our award winning coffee.

As we're all too painfully aware, there are endless roadworks in Stafford at the moment.
To make the best of a bad situation, we've decided to launch a competition!
Church fetes & school fayres have "guess the number of sweets in the jar" we're having "guess the number of cones in Stafford!"
We have a webpage up on our website www.coffeebarkitchen.co.uk/competition for everyone to enter their guess. Closest answer wins one of one afternoon teas!
Obviously new cones get added fairly regularly, the answer is the number there are when we count them!

As I'm sure you're all aware, there are a few roadworks in & around Stafford at the moment. There are even roadworks on the diversion of other roadworks! But businesses in Stafford are still very much open and in need of your support.
Hear how the roadworks are effecting businesses on Radio Stoke tomorrow (Wednesday 8th May) morning from 8am & tomorrow evening on BBC1 Midlands Today at 6.30pm.
We're open as usual throughout the roadworks. Do come and pop in!

Last week we catered for a corporate event and delivered it to their offices they said "Thanks so much for the buffet today. The food was absolutely lovely, and all staff are very happy."
