With rising costs, hospitality is facing its toughest time yet, and the UK is at risk of losing up to 9,000 pubs — your local needs your support!
From April, pubs with a rateable value of £100,000 will see business rates increase by £19,000 per year. To cover just this rise, they’ll need to sell an extra:
• 60,000 pints a year
• 1,200 pints a week
• 170 extra pints a day
And that’s before factoring in soaring energy bills, staff wages, and other expenses.
