Who doesn't love a lawn game?! and the lawn here at Fairbank is made for it; with plenty of space for games, drinks and canapes!

Make your own or hire them in! We have had everything from crazy golf and sack races, to giant jenga, connect 4 and welly wanging!

Hello!

I am Clare, owner and wedding coordinator here at Fairbank! Its me who will be on hand to guide you through your wedding journey from first viewing to the wedding day!

It is an honour to be able to host your special days here at Fairbank. Each wedding is so different and its a joy to see each couple put their own twist on our beautiful venue.

Fairbank is nestled in the beautiful Lake District countryside; which we also share with our herd of beef cows, flock of sheep and 6 chickens!

What a wedding this one was!!! 🥰

Laura did lots of the table decor herself, complimented by lighting from and flowers from . The decor from the ceremony room was then repurposed as a hanging cloud over the top table which was stunning!!

Awesome live singers and it’s always a laugh when the horse box is here!!

After a wet morning the sun came out and we had a lovely afternoon for Georgia and Chris! 🎉

Last week we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine! ☀️ The bride started the day with a dip in the tarn!
A personalied ceremony, with hand fasting; hosted by a friend followed by Pimms on the lawn!

This lovely couple created the most amazing hoops for in the barn, and everywhere was decorated with hops so it smelt amazing!

Our first visit from .events who were fab! Great food and a lovely team!

Willow & Fig - Wedding and Event Styling and the did a great job on decorating the barn, and as always the bouquets were amazing!!

Great to see Jamie Harper, as he was DJ and guest!

And finally after stalking her Instagram for a long time we were blessed with a cake!! And it was amazing!

I can’t even cope with how perfect this wedding was 😭😭😍

I mean, I had high expectations, given that most of the suppliers involved had messaged me in the weeks leading up to it all singing the same song of OMG TIREE YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS WEDDING 😂

And I really did! An 11am ceremony (they only had the choice of 11am or 4pm to make what was a very special date to them) is, I won’t lie, usually a bit of a killer….but there was just so much joy and energy and beautiful photographs to be had that I was actually so grateful for the extra time it gave for everything.

Grace and Dan you are a total joy. Tears shed for every emotion, an enviable and rare consistency of style, the most beautiful way of working with your carefully chosen suppliers, heaps of original ideas all perfectly and seemingly effortlessly executed….the perfect venue….I literally could not ask for a nicer day’s “work”!

Christmas is Coming 🎄🥂🎄 We held a private Christmas Wreath Class here at Fairbank for the Fairbank Team and friends! The fabulous Katie from @madeinflowers showed us how to create our own festive wreath and we all had a lovely evening!! Made in Flowers are a recommended supplier for wedding florals but it was great to see what Katie gets up to at this time of year! The joys of the Lake District weather!! What a day yesterday was… started with snow and ended with floods!! 2 changes of clothes, snow clearing, cancelled workshop and drain clearing. The weather can be extremely unpredictable, and days like yesterday make me thankful we don’t do winter weddings!! Unfortunately Emma did have to cancel her awesome Weddjng Planning Workshop… which means there will be another opportunity to book on!!
