Loved working with @shackrevolution, @fatedeventsco (venue styling) and @daniellescakespershore (cake) to plan a theme and pull together these flowers. Love this colour palette...so unique.

March Meet the Maker- Focus and Priorities
My main focus at this point is getting in front of those quirky couples who love vibrant, fun and colourful flowers. Maybe doing this with paid advertising may be the way I go in the future but at this point I am going organic and putting myself out there in a variety of different ways.
Including:
Attending Wedding Fairs (Great Northern Wedding Show, Bolton Arena and Bowlands Tipis, near Preston).
Putting together some photoshoots with other quirky vendors to showcase my style.
Attending venue open days to showcase my style again.
Upping my Social Media offering (desperately trying to get a plan in place).
Building my Pinterest account...oh yeah I'm on Pinterest. Love it for Inspo.
So loads of fun stuff coming up. It is all about being able to show couples that they can flowers that are beyond ordinary and that really stand out.

Bet you didn't know...all your wedding flowers are designed and created by me.
Today's Meet The Maker is all about the Human Touch so I wanted to share a clip of me building a bridal bouquet. I always work collaboratively with couples to understand their unique personalities and the style they want to achieve. Once I've done this I know what flowers I need and how I will create each element.
However, flowers don't always play ball, being natural elements sometimes they move around or droop the wrong way. This can lead to some frustrating moments and strange faces being pulled. It takes patience and time to create beautiful bouquets that brides can feel amazing walking down the aisle with.
On a side note...I am going to mention that I almost didn't post this because of the greasy hair and camera angle that is enhancing the amount of chins I currently have 🤣. Tis the season of the 🎃. Pumpkin Spiced Latte, Pumpkin Soup, Scary Pumpkins and now PUMPKIN FLOWERS.
🎃 Flowers can be used in any vessel or to create any style. I love trying new styles and trend outs. These are some leftover flowers I had from another project and needed using.

Floristry can be a competitive business with lots of florists available to choose from.
💡What I am learning more and more is that actually all florists have their own unique style, personality they bring to customers and what works for one person may not work for someone else.
🛍️So shop around for your florist whether it be for your wedding, a big event or a bouquet style. Make sure you click with the florist and like their style. Trust me it is so important. It may be your styles don't match but they may know another florist who would fit you perfectly.
🤝 Controversial as it may be, as a florist who wants the best for people I will always be willing to recommend other florists.
On that note I just want to congratulate @sweetbudflorals for the opening of her shop in Levenshulme. Where I picked up a few dried flower stems to elevate this design.
