Part 3 - Professional Display Install

At Lymm Methodist Church, a faulty projector was replaced by the team with a 98” Legamaster Professional Display and soundbar.

As well as the addition of the screen, the old VGA infrastructure was replaced with a a state of the art 4k Optical HDMI system to allow 3 control points, 2 audio options and hassle free transition between the multiple venue users.

The venue now have control from the main area at the back of the building, a HDMI input wall socket to stage right and a Cat-6 infrastructure network for HDMI over Cat-6 from Stage Left.

All old cables and projection screens were removed.

A user manual was also created following the install to troubleshoot any settings that may need adjusting on devices that haven’t been used on the infrastructure before. The guide is clear and sent in a digital format for easy communication to visiting venue users.

In addition to the screen, DDE were also asked to install LED backlighting to the cross that can be controlled locally or via a Philips hue for remote timing.

The venue is now much more user and environmentally friendly with their new infrastructure thanks to Dave D Events.

Part 2 of our install series - AV install

At Loreto College, the projector stopped working during a performance at the end of the Summer term and with their first event being a Shakespeare Festival at the start of November, they gave DDE a call, had a demonstration of their quoted projector and an install was arranged around other events in the venue.

This 15,000 lumen projector is resistant to use in venues with Haze and comes with a 5 year guarantee. A step up in brightness from the old unit as well as more flexibility for use within the stage shows!

Time for an upgrade?

DDE are here to help!

Over the next few days we will be showing off the hard work the team put in at the end of 2023 with a few install jobs.

Firstly at St Bede’s School, the team did a full audio upgrade including supplying of a new Midas M32 digital desk to replace the outdated analogue system. 6 new Martin audio speakers to provide main stereo and auditorium speakers, 12 ways of sennheiser digital radio microphones.

This install was supported by a half-day training session for the staff & supporting students before a college show the week later!

A huge thanks goes to the team: Dave, Fran and James who did an amazing job of the de-rig and install of the new kit.

This week we transformed the Stadium Suite at Hotel Football Old Trafford for the Bar Mitzvah of Sammy.

The theme was a ‘Neon Nightclub’ so DDE provided full production, graffiti poseur tables, neon dance floor and staging.
