Alrighty then thrill seekers, Bank Holiday weekend races ever closer, and this will be your last chance to catch a Golden Classics event this year!
The sell out January gig was jam packed with the Golden Faithful, it was a close as you could get to actually being there, back in the day!
This Sunday sees another great line up of genuine Golden DJās, Jon and John were regular guests from the get go, and Pete played almost every golden, from the first, to the last!
Once again, Iām made up to be playing the warm up slot for these genuine Golden legends, who will bring the Golden magic to The Underground, for one last time this year!
The fun starts at 9pm, youāll need to be early to catch my selection of genuine Golden gems though!
Last time it sounded like this: https://soundcloud.com/bobs-disco/golden-classics-27124
Put on your dancing shoes, and come say hello! It would be lovely to see you! š
Right then, the weekend events are coming around thick and fast now, first up is this Satdee, at Th'underground, up Hanley duck!
Me and the boy wonder Carl Brown, will be doing what we usually do on the roof for The Move nights at the Sugarmill, bouncing those Loft, Disco and Balearic classics off each other, to warm the party for everyones current favourite party boy, Dan Shake!
Dan impressed me last time he came, he took me by surprise with his knowledgeable selections from Disco years gone by, the boy has knowledge beyond his years, and he makes a right party out of it!
This is a great opportunity to see him in a small venue with a massive sound system, up close, and personal like..... You'd be an April fool to miss it! š
And as bonus, our Pete, Lee, Matt and Frosty will be keeping the party bouncing all night long too!
If you can make it, do come and say hello, it would be lovely to see you! š
Right then, three weeks time, me and the boy wonder, Carl Brown will be spinning a few tunes for Dan Shake, rattle, and roll, at Thundergoround, up Hanley duck.
Dan's boosted his profile since he came to play for us last year, he was pretty good as it goes, and now you've a chance to see him in a little venue with a massive sound system, rather than a festival in a muddy field.......
I even thought he'd been steeling my records at one stage, I bet he hasn't got this one though........
Born Slippy indeed........

God Save The King!
Four weeks tonight, at the fantastic Keele Uni, we celebrate three of the biggest names in Stoke's glorious history of Dance!
At about this time a year ago, I stuck my neck out, and said that the Void 25 bash at Keele in October 21, would be the best party of the year!
And you know what? I was right! What a party that was!
If you were there, then you know this one is going to be good too!
Keele is a unique venue where we can offer three rooms, three different styles, all for the price of one ticket!
Back in the Day bring you the mighty FPI Project for the first time, a massive play on all of my live streams!
There's a chance to re-live the glory days of Golden at the Void in K2, and then the pumping sound of Satchmo's will resonate in the Lounge! What's not to like!
Once again I'll be joining a raft of local heroes in the lounge,
I shall play all of those Bob's Disco classics from the Satchmo's era, that you might never have heard before! Music with a dance..... Music with a feel....... taking you back in time, to the best days of your lives!
If you're only doing one big night this autumn, this is the place to be! If you make it, do come and say hello, it would be lovely to see you!
A year ago, it sounded like this, which has been my most popular mix of the past twelve months! https://soundcloud.com/bobs-disco/the-void-25-91021

God help the king!
Right then, to celebrate Port Fail's promotion to Division 3, and Queen Liz's 70 years sat on the Throne, we're having a little outdoorsy Disco party in down town LA, next Satdee Duck.
By coincidence, Bozlem's most famous prodigal son, and long suffering Vale supporter, Bobby Williams, is doing a turn up Hamil Road, where he'll be belting out a few of them covers we all know and love. That one he sings about the canal overflow by the Bet 365 Stadium is my favourite, "dine Sideway, there's an angel......"
Anyway, his Take That pal, Howard, has heard them all before, and loves a bit of Disco, so he's heading down to LA to spin a few tunes with us, between 4 and 5:30pm, well before the Vale gig gets going.......
Aynsley is great little outdoor venue, greater than the sum of its parts, if you went to the Ibiza Classics event last month, then you'll know. Some of Stoke's finest selectors will be filling the gaps between 2 and 10pm, to keep the party going.
I shall be playing a few of those Bob's Disco classics, after Howard heads off to see his chum. I've recorded a few tunes especially for the occasion, pops, crackles, scratches, warts an' all! Something old, something new, something borrowed....... and some we can sing along to!
I've booked the sunshine for next week, If you are able to join us in down town Longton Area, then it would be lovely to see youš
Here's one from me to keep you going: https://youtu.be/6Dla9xLIkfQ

Oh..... and did I mention after party........ on the roof at the Mill like....... š¤Ŗ
As many of you know, one of Howardās mates has a party on the same day as ours š
Lucky for us, the legendary Stokie Robbie Williams is playing his homecoming gig at Vale Park during the evening, which means you can catch Howard spinning for us from 4pm-5.30 at Aynsley Mill, which means you can catch both Howard & Robbie without clashing, should you wish to šš»
Disco & house shenanigans all day and night long and for those of you hardcore enough, weāll be joining our friends at The Sugarmill, partying on til the early hours til 4am if youāre still going strong! š
Carnival de Disco with Howard Donald, Aynsley Mill, 4th June 2pm-10pm ššŗš»
With support from Matt Erst, Bob's Disco, Darren Harvey, Nick Stockley and Carl Brown.
