When creating my arrangements, I am always mindful that there are risks of certain flowers/foliage which can prove to be incredibly hazardous for pets.

I aim to use flowers and foliage which aren't toxic to pets although, I will use any flowers requested. I will however; check that you or the recipient hasn’t got pets if a particular type of flower is requested and advise accordingly.

This is a prime example of how pets, particularly cats are so curious and Daphne appeared out of nowhere and arrived in shot as I was taking the photos. This arrangement contains Eucalyptus and Gladioli which are both toxic to cats. Daphne was quickly ushered away but proves how quickly they can appear from nowhere!

There are still an awful lot of owners who are unaware of the risks of numerous common plants, for example Lillies are lethal to cats plus many more to be aware of and the owners genuinely dont know ☣️.

60th Birthday gift. I love working with Alstroemeria, a versatile and long lasting flower.

These were pulled to order directly from the grower. They were pulled on the morning I collected them so will last at least THREE weeks!

I say pulled rather than picked as the roots will decay and rot if picked. They need to be pulled (the same as Rhubarb) as it stimulates more growth and that means more flowers.

Grown in the UK and haven't travelled thousands of miles to get here unlike the same flower bought in Supermarkets!

Also the beautiful leaves of Fatsia Japonica adds an exotic look to this arrangement.

Weeding and planting of Roses completed under the guidance of cats who helped 'dig' over the beds and the goats who are willing to assist in the pruning! Beautiful flowers supplied by another florist for a cherished Mother's funeral. Her daughters had a fantastic idea that rather than leave them to be disposed of by the crematorium in a few days, their Mother would have loved for them to have an arrangement each made from the original arrangement.
