Lately, Suppliers have been giving us really funny looks about our Rolling Pin🤨

So we think its time to explain. When Doreen Morgan, Blakelands Founder, started Weddings at Blakelands in 1991, we needed something to use to bang to ask guests to stand to welcome the Couple into the Wedding Breakfast. At the last minute, she found a rolling pin. This has become ‘The Rolling Pin’ and has welcomed every couple into their Wedding Breakfast ever since😅🥰

Bertie the Blakelands Bear is our gift from us to you on your wedding day. We are not sure when we started to give out Bertie to our Couples, but the Bear now comes with a certificate letting you know your unique Blakelands Number which is saved to our database. Bertie and his brothers are probably the most travelled bears in the world, as they tend to go on lots of honeymoons! The same Bertie is actually used in all our promotional videos & photos as he is our Wedding Coordinator, Chloe’s, Bear from 2021! 🐻🧸
