This week Shout out Sunday goes to…..

🌟ELOUISE🌟

Elouise started our classes as a very shy and unsure little diddi, but in recent weeks her confidence has been growing hugely, and this week she blew me away!

Following the moves, being confident handing back her props and even knowing what was coming next in class too (diddi teacher in the making lol😉)

Why is it you can put your kids to bed two hours later than usual yet they STILL manage to wake up at the same time at the crack of dawn?!?🤯🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well……the lie in dream lives on 🤣🤣

Our classes follow the same structure each week, using the same music and elements…..only changing up our dance theme each half term 🤩

We do this for a reason🙌 Repetition is crucial in early years because it allows children to solidify new concepts and skills by repeatedly practising them, strengthening neural connections in the brain, which leads to better understanding, confidence, and fluency in acquiring language, motor skills, and social cues👍

In a nutshell, it provides the foundation for learning by making information familiar and predictable, enabling them to build upon existing knowledge❤️

Well yesterday was so busy I didn’t get a chance to share these from our Intergenerational class at Washington Manor Care Home❤️❤️

What an absolutely wonderful session we had…..so special getting to share the fun with the residents, who absolutely loved it, as did we🥰

What a lovely opportunity it was to bring the generations together and put smiles on each others faces ❤️

Monday the 20th January is Blue Monday 💙

Blue Monday is an annual day which typically falls on the third Monday of January and is associated with feelings of sadness, low motivation and a lack of energy🤦🏻‍♀️

At diddi dance we understand how important dance, and movement to music are to help us all let go, and release endorphins which really helps support mental health💗

What a fab time I had today delivering our EYFS session at Rebeccas’s Daycare setting! Lots of fun🤩
