TOP TIP… When is the right time to order your dress?

We always recommend to start wedding dress shopping around 18 months in advance … if you feel ready sooner than that’s absolutely ok too!
By being super organised it gives you unlimited dress choices!
Most bridal designers require a MIN of 10/12 months between ordering date & wedding date. This is because wedding dresses take (on average) 6-8 months to be made ~ remember this is not an online purchase with next day delivery, this is a hand made/hand beaded gown that requires time, love, care & personal attention ♥️
We then have to allow delivery & wedding dress prep! We wish that every dress that arrived is perfect but occasionally dresses have to be returned & even re made so we have to build this into your time frame.
You will then have fittings which take on average 3/4 months this is because the seamstresses are looking after lots of other brides at the same time which is why the process is longer especially firing the months of April-October!
As a small business we will never want to put ourselves or our brides in a situation that there dress is running late, which is why we are strict with deadlines … this is to ultimately to protect YOU our bride ♥️
If your reading this & your wedding is less than 10 months away firstly do not panic … we have other options if you have less time. Most of our designers do have rush/priority options on selected styles & we do have our fabulous Outlet boutique (The Bridal Outlet Birmingham) for amazing deals on “our off the peg” wedding dresses!
So don’t delay booking in … finding your dress early is a great thing & helps keep you stress free & you can move on to plan the rest of your beautiful wedding ♥️
