💔 UPDATE 💔

With a heavy heart, we must inform you that the 17-19th September Sherwood Glade event has been cancelled and full refunds have been issued.

With several members of our events team having been hit with COVID isolations following events, we have been forced to suspend activity over at Sherwood Glade in Notts. We’re so sorry to disappoint you all, and we know when the world is fully back up and running we’ll sit around a campfire together again.

The ticket includes a set menu for 4 or 6 guests with beautifully crafted wood fired dishes from a wide menu including desserts from our team of open fire chefs with full table service in under the tipi tent.

All seasonal ingredients are selected right before the event which will include incredible dishes such as lamb barbacoa, smoked pork belly and BBQ smoked vegetables. We also offer a full vegetarian or vegan menu option.

DAY TICKET

Join us for a daytime casual dining experience in the heart of the Sherwood Glade with access from 12 noon until 5pm and includes a wood fired meal and all of the listed entertainment

We encourage a casual dining experience where you pick your dishes as you gather around the campfire and to enjoy the music.

LINE UP UPDATE 🎶

Meet the wonderful Tash Bird. tashbirdmusic

From the self-release of her debut EP ‘Normal is Boring’ reaching top 20 in the iTunes UK singer-songwriter charts back in 2016, local acoustic sensation Tash Bird is making her mark on the music industry one show at a time and shows no signs of slowing down.

👏🏻 Embellishing every tune with her husky vocals and candid balladry, her relatable lyricism and colloquial stage presence never fails to leave audiences wanting more and feel like they’ve made a new mate in Tash. A seasoned favourite of the Nottingham music scene, Tash has performed at various festivals around the country including Y Not, Splendour, Beat The Streets, Dot To Dot, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and gained multiple airplays on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Nottingham.

🤷‍♂️ WHERE IS THE NEXT EVENT? 💡

We’re hosting our pop up restaurant at Sherwood Glade.

A new woodland events venue in Nottinghamshire for perfect parties, wonderful weddings and fabulous festivals that launched in Summer 2020.

Their goal is to provide the ideal space for forest festivities and fairy tale events unlike anything else in Nottingham.

🌲👏🏻 The forest
Our glade is located in the world-famous Sherwood Forest, once home of Robin Hood and Maid Marian and a beautiful ancient woodland full of diverse flora and fauna. The ancient oaks and incredible wildlife are just part of the magic of this incredible forest.
Our little part of the forest consists of our Tipi venue set in a clearing in 25 acres of private woodland. The woodland is perfect for a romantic stroll along the pretty footpaths nestling under the tree canopies and makes a stunning backdrop to your photos.

You and your loved ones deserve a day away from the rush and problems of daily life.

WE GIVE A LAMB ABOUT OUR FOOD.

🔥 The incredible Smoqued team cannot wait to showcase their flavourful tacos at our upcoming event. These gents are passionate about food, it's story and its history.

👏🏻 They've asked us to pass on some information about the meat main, lamb barbacoa, In contemporary Mexico, it generally refers to meats or whole sheep or whole goats slow-cooked over an open fire or, more traditionally, in a hole dug in the ground covered with agave (maguey) leaves, although the interpretation is loose, and in the present day (and in some cases) may refer to meat steamed until tender. This meat is known for its high fat content and strong flavor, often accompanied with onions and cilantro (coriander leaf).

Carnitas is a quintessential dish in Mexico. We use free range British old spot pork belly cooked over a very long period in lard and lots of traditional Mexican herbs & dried chilli.

Campfire Events presents a weekend festival of open fire cooking, cocktails, craft beer and music with camping set amongst magical grounds of the Victorian Woodhouse Farm set along the banks of the River Tame on the fringes of Birmingham

Our chefs have created a menu of the finest local produce prepared in a blend of traditional and indigenous cooking techniques all over wood fired, open flames. We encourage a casual dining experience where you pick your dishes as you gather around the campfire and to enjoy the music.

Whats Included?

CAMPING TICKET

A 2 night Camping pitch at the beautiful Woodhouse Farm and Gardens with access to showers & WC - Fri to Sun - Own tent / camper required.

Breakfast and Evening meal

The ticket includes a wood fired breakfast on the Saturday morning to welcome you to our festival followed by an evening community meal with beautifully crafted courses from a wide menu including desserts from our team of open fire chefs.

All seasonal ingredients are selected right before the event including produce from Woodhouse Farm but will include incredible dishes such as lamb barbacoa, smoked pork belly and BBQ smoked vegetables.

Woodhouse Farm Café and shop will be open for a hearty Sunday morning breakfast to set you on the road back home at additional cost.

SATURDAY DAY TICKET

Access from 12 noon until 11pm and includes our wood fired community meal in evening and all of the listed entertainment

Entertainment

We have DJs to entertain you throughout the day and as the sun sets around us we will enjoy campfire side live music sets under the canopy and stars creating an intimate festival experience beside our campfires.

We will also be joined by Sipsmith gin, official sponsors of Wimbledon 2021 to introduce their wonderful range of gins in tasting sessions with a few stories and cocktail demos along the way.
