A beautiful boho down do for the gorgeous Charlotte who I had the up most pleasure of styling a few weeks ago, working alongside 🤍
We added in some clip ins for thickness and I created the waves using both my straighteners and wand for a more textured finished.
I literally have SO much to upload onto socials but in all honesty...I A) dont have socials down as a priority at the moment B) struggle to find the time and C) I don't feel like I particularly want to - I have a love/hate relationship with social media and my actual phone for that matter. I sometimes find it sooooo draining looking at a screen and find it very artificial 😩 but I know it's all part of running the business so I should get out on my own way 😅

when it comes to extensions, I do all I can to ensure any evidence of wearing them is hidden, and when your natural hair is shorter, this can often be a giveaway if it is seen. Styles like Hollywood waves, all down and half ups often mean the shorter hair pops out underneath...and if I think this may happen, I will ask you if I can plait away the short pieces...at first it does feel strange having a plait in the nape of your neck, but it's an absolute game changer 👌🏼 swipe to the third picture to see what I mean ✨

What I loved is that Elina wore her hair what I want to call, "naturally elevated" and throughout the two years Elina had her wedding booked with me we did LOTS of trials, including some styles with extensions, some half ups, some down with natural her own hair and more...
From them all, We came to the conclusion that Elina felt THE BEST when she had hair all down with no extra length, so we added in two rows of , I cut them to match her natural length and we created a nice full wave. It looked beautiful on her and she felt "her best self" which is always how I say Brides should feel 🤍

2024 SO FAR FOR MY SMALL BIZZ 🤍 I knew at this beginning of this year, I wanted more and to push my self on a business level, so as it's half way through the year, I put this video together as a bit of reflection for my self and honestly; it really got me 🥹 (I'm not sure though if It's basically a video of @makeupbytg ft me 🥹😂) On a serious note...I feel just so lucky (as well as overwhelmed) that THIS is my job?! this is what I do for a living?!... its something that gives me an income as well as flexibility to create a beautiful life for my family and be present for the children. (as much as possible). I get to do something I love, I get to meet so many incredible people and hear their love stories, I get to help them feel their best self and make such a difference to one of the biggest days of their lives. I get to be creative every time I work and be in such positive environments where people only have good things to say, I get to see lots of new places that I would never usually go and work with some inspiring people in the same industry. I get to share my passion and help other people gain confidence in their hair ups or even to begin a new business venture and just so much more. it's a true dream career and I am GRATEFUL this is life. I really can't wait for the next 6 months, I know what's going to happen and I can't wait for you to see too! 🫶🏼🥹🤍 But really, thank you for coming along the ride with me, keeping me busy, for all the kind words, the recommendations, the support, the bookings and all in-between. It may be just a small business but at one point it was a big dream. thank gosh I never gave up 🙏🏼✝️💫.
