Friday’s service was truly special. I had the privilege of caring for a wonderful widow, who came to me via recommendation from a fellow celebrant. Together we crafted the service for her husband that said everything she needed to, and I helped her design an order of service that was something unique to them. It’s moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to be in this line of work, offering comfort during such a difficult time.

I’m there to calm last-minute nerves, smooth over family tensions, and make sure every detail is just right - from perfecting your hair and makeup to hyping you up for that first step down the aisle, or calming you down before you see your partner walk down the aisle.

I’ll encourage the heartfelt moments, the laughter, the happy tears, and even help you pull off a cheeky prank if that’s your vibe. And when the formalities are over? You’ll find me on the dance floor, making sure the party truly begins!

✨Lee & Jess ✨

Enough about me the last few days - being the center of attention isn’t my thing. But Lee & Jess? Absolute stars! ✨

Their wedding was the perfect mix of fun, chaos (the best kind), and pure love. From a heartfelt sand ceremony with their gorgeous kids (their daughter totally stole the show with her speech!) to an unforgettable night of laughter, this day was all about family, laughter, and joy.

I’ve always believed that the secret to happiness is laughter, and if I’m right, then these two have got it made. From start to finish, their day was filled with so much love, light, and genuine belly laughs - you couldn’t help but feel the joy radiating from them.

I even got to MC the day, seeing how special this family and day were first hand, and leave my own special mark in the guestbook - what a memory of me for this couple to keep! This is one wedding I won’t forget, not just because of the epic team I worked with, but because Lee & Jess are the kind of couple you can’t help but love. 💛

Last Night I was honoured with the title of Kent Celebrant of the Year at the Kent Wedding Awards!

I remember early in my career watching colleagues head off to black-tie awards events, wondering what it would feel like to be recognized in that way. I never imagined it would be me one day.

But here’s the truth - I found my thing. The work that truly lights me up. Writing and telling love stories, whether in a wedding ceremony or a eulogy, has shown me that love is the most powerful force we have. It’s what connects us, lifts us, and reminds us of what truly matters.

I always want to champion other incredible businesses and individuals in the industries I work in so a huge shout out to;

🎃 Tia and Sam’s wedding was an absolute dream 🎃

Set in the magical venue, Bower in the Wood, Tia and Sam’s day was filled with personal touches that were as unique and thoughtful as they are.

From a DIY confetti station where guests could create their own blends using meaningful botanical elements, to the adorable owl ring bearer, and a pumpkin carving competition, every single detail was carefully considered and felt like a beautiful reflection of their journey as a couple.

The culmination of that journey and one of the most touching moments of the day was their handfasting ceremony. They wove their own handfasting cord together and included significant details from their individual heritages and something to symbolise their shared future as a family.

The vows were heartfelt, the speeches moving and funny, and there was an undeniable magic in the air as they promised forever to each other. ✨✨

And of course, what’s a celebration without pizza and ice cream?! 🍕🍦 bellies full of food, heart full of love, face sore from laughter, and spellbound by the charm of a day that makes you feel like you’re part of something truly special.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review! 💖 Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to my beautiful Tia and Sam for these incredibly kind words. Getting to be a part of your wedding day was such an honour, and hearing how much you felt I contributed to your day means the world to me - how lucky am I to have a job that never really feels like work??

From our first video call to the pumpkin carving competition, every moment I spent with you two was an absolute joy. I’m beyond grateful that you let me share in your love story and create a ceremony that felt as personal and unique as the two of you are.

Whether it’s guiding you through vow writing, being a calming presence, or just going along with all your wonderful (and slightly wild) ideas, I truly do it all with so much love - as I genuinely and truly love every second of what I do! 💕 A love letter to a Wedding Dress💕

Rebecca is not only a bride I had the immense pleasure of marrying this year but also an incredibly talented wedding dress designer. For her own big day, she designed and made a gown that was nothing short of breathtaking.

From the moment I saw her walk down the aisle, I was in awe of the artistry and craftsmanship. The draping of the fabric was so elegant, creating a soft, fluid movement that flowed beautifully with every step. The structure was impeccable—perfectly sculpted to her form, showcasing her skill in blending form and function. Subtle beading shimmered delicately, adding just the right amount of understated glamour without ever overpowering the overall grace of the dress.

It’s clear that Rebecca’s talent as a designer shines through in every detail. This gown was not only a work of art but a true reflection of her creativity and vision. I just had to dedicate an entire post to celebrate her extraordinary skill and this incredible dress. Amidst the dahlia garden grown lovingly by Rebecca’s mum and the with whisper of raindrops in the woodlands as the couple said their vows - Steve and Bex’s forest wedding at Bex family home was nothing short of magical.

From the bride’s stunning self-made dress to speeches that brought laughter and tears, every moment was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. ⚡️🌈 Luke and Vici’s wedding at Westhanger Castle was the perfect blend of rock ‘n’ roll, bright colours, and pure joy 🌈⚡️

From gnome hunting 🔎 to cassette tape wedding favours that were the perfect conversation starter 🎧 lawn games in the sunshine ☀️ whilst listening to Abigail Cardwell sing 🎤 , epic sumo donuts for dessert 🍩 and an unforgettable rock band first dance, they filled the day with magic and so much personality!
As their Celebrant and MC, I dressed in my rock n roll sparkles ✨ and got to join in the fun by including Star Wars intros, wrestling songs, and helping them kickstart a great party 💃🕺

Truly, every moment captured their vibrant spirits and the love they share – I left with two new best friends and a heart full of happiness ❤️✨
