🐍 Why Are They Called "Royal" Pythons? 👑

Did you know that royal pythons got their regal name because African royalty, including Queen Cleopatra herself (according to legend), supposedly wore these beautiful snakes as living jewelry? Their Latin name Python regius literally means "of the king." Now that's a fashion statement fit for royalty!

We had an incredible time bringing smiles and scaly friends to Downs View Care Centre and Cotswolds Rise Care Home! 🧡 The residents were thrilled to meet our gentle and fascinating reptiles, including our beautiful albino Burmese python, friendly corn snake, and adorable crested gecko.

It was heartwarming to see everyone engage, ask questions, and even conquer fears while holding these amazing creatures. The joy was contagious!
