Our designer bridal collection of wedding dresses ranges from the vintage inspired to contemporary for the fun loving bride, from some fantastic bridal designers such as White One, Richard Designs, Wendy Makin French Collection, and Lily. Our boho, chic, modern and classic bridal gown styles are in a variety of fabrics that touch and feel luxurious, and have been chosen for their quality and outstanding fit in a range of silhouettes to appeal to all brides-to-be. To order prices range from £1200-£2500, and many of our dresses can be ordered up to a size 30. If you are short on time some of our designers offer a rush order service for a small extra charge, and we also have a rail of 'ready to wear' gowns which can be bought and taken away that day, from as little as £500. We therefore have bridal gowns to suit every brides budget and timescale, which is so important right now to help you find your prefect wedding dress. We currently stock prom dresses from Prom Frocks & our prices range from £300-£600, and accessories such as tiaras, veils and hairpieces from Ivory & Co, Richard Designs, Stargem, & Lacey Bell & bridal shoes from the Perfect Bridal Company. We also offer a full hand-made bespoke service using our in house dressmaker for those looking for something truly unique creating something that reflects your personality. This allows you to own something that has been created just for you in the style, fabric and details of your choice. With our expertise and passion for fashion, we hope that we can create some wonderful memories together. Introducing our new DRESS OF THE WEEK WEDNESDAY!

Today the spotlight is on our ‘Flora’ gown by White One. Size 16 although fits smaller and can be altered down by two sizes is now only £700!

So who’s seen our 💕beautiful💕 ‘Orchid’. No photo can do this dress justice. The detail is just stunning.

Our romantic ‘Orchid’ gown is a gorgeous summer garden of soft coloured embroidery hues, paired with richly beaded lace. The vines grow upwards over the flattering neckline creating body-sculpting lines of embroidery. Delicate beaded straps lead to a sheer back and a beautiful oversized detachable bow with tiny chiffon petals that fall down the bow tails.

The sumptuous Christina dress is defined by its unbelievably flattering silhouette, elongated by lines of embroidery that follow the curve of your body for an incredible shape. Bold lace appliques drift from the bodice down to the skirt and fall away to layers of tulle. It was a great honour to undertake the alterations on Alexia’s two wedding dresses!

I have to say her day dress was the largest dress I have ever worked on with a huge train, but it still never phased me. I love a challenge, and did take many an hour and some serious lifting.💪🏻💕

For all of those new followers this is me, the face behind Fairytale Occasions. Lover of sparkly things, fabrics, period & costume dramas, gin, being a mum, and not forgetting my love for animals especially my beagle baby. There just isn’t enough time in the day!

As a graduate from the London College of Fashion I am always here to give advice on finding your perfect gown and alteration needs. All our bridal & prom gowns are lovingly handpicked by me, and all alterations are undertaken in house by myself too, to ensure that the highest standard is met at all times. The Boutique

Fairytale Occasions is an award winning beautiful vintage style bridal boutique situated in the quaint market town of Highworth, in Swindon, Wiltshire, which occupies a strategic position over the Thames Valley. It is often called the ‘gateway to the cotswolds’. We are situated next to the entrance to the parish church of St Michael in a grade 2 listed building. We stock a luxurious collection of wedding dresses from some fantastic bridal designers. We aim to make the whole experience of finding and purchasing your dream dress relaxed and stress free, whether a wedding or prom. Everyone should be able to express their individual style and not have to follow convention. We offer a friendly service in a calm and relaxed atmosphere banishing the bridal stuffiness for all our customers, and operate an appointment system to ensure that everyone receives an exclusive one-to-one service to help build your dream look.

The Collection

We currently stock a number of designer wedding gowns including the Wendy Makin Ready-To-Wear & French Collection, Sacha James & Lilly, ranging from the vintage inspired to contemporary. Our luxurious designer dresses are created using high quality fabrics and focus on, ‘on trend’ designs. They have been chosen for their quality and outstanding fit in a range of silhouettes to appeal to all brides-to-be. We also stock a collection for the hip modern bride utilising exquisite French laces and beautiful flowing fabrics. Many of our dresses can be ordered up to a size 30, but we also have a pure curvy range of dresses available in sizes 16-30. If you are short on time some of our designers offer a rush order service for a small extra charge and we also have a rail of sample dresses on sale which can be bought and taken away that day.
