After 40 months in post it is time to hand the baton on as Minehead BID Manager. Thanks to the wonderful businesses and people of Minehead for making me feel so welcome and I hope in some small way I helped bring something positive to the town during my tenure. Good luck to my successor Karen Morledge who I have no doubt will do great things in the future. 👋 and 🙏
It’s hard to properly reflect in just 9 photos all the wonderful people I got to work with in 2021, but can I thank all of those who made it another fun and exciting year. I look forward to what 2022 will bring 😊

Today was the start of a new season and handover day for which has been a fun project over the last couple of years. It is now in the very capable hands of the Events Team at East Devon District Council who will do a grand job of the superb must-go location on 😎
It was great to be involved in this year, looking forward to its return 👏👍

Today we went live with the new Minehead Gift Card. Being launched this spring this is the new way to spend in town👇
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exciting News ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you have a business in Minehead, please register for our new Minehead Gift Card, which has been given the go-ahead as part of town centre recovery plans.
All types of businesses from across Minehead are eligible to be a part of the new, free gift card programme, including retail, leisure, hospitality and services.
The Minehead Gift Card will be available for people to buy online from early April 2021, in values from £5 to £500.
Each gift card will work as a regular store gift card but can be spent at participating businesses across the whole of Minehead, keeping money locked into the town and making local shopping simple for both residents and tourists. 🛍🌟

5 years ago today the Taunton Visitor Centre opened in its new home in the Market House. Managing and delivering this project is one of my proudest achievements, bringing a service I was (and am) still passionate about to the heart of the town and in doing so we brought back to life one of the historical assets of Taunton ☺️
