Hundred House Weddings

Dear Gem - We recently received the photographs from our big day back in September and wanted to share them with you and the Hundred House Team and wanted to say the biggest thank you for making our vision become a reality. We wish we could relive that day over again. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond. I was expecting to be so nervous during the wedding morning but to my surprise, I felt so calm and at ease and I believe that was because everything seemed so organised and under control. We couldn't believe how beautiful the room looked, we wish we could walk back into it again for the first time. Everyone spoke so highly of the food and the day itself and how attentive everyone was. From our first communication all the way up to our big day, you made the process so easy and stress free and couldn't do more for us, we cant thank you enough! We want to say a special thank you to Kerry as well, she went above and beyond to ensure our day ran perfectly and she was so lovely and friendly. I have attached some pictures and will send a few more over in a separate email as I don't think it will allow me to send them all in one email. The kind of message everyone wants to receive ❤️ thank you emails are always appreciated here- whether it’s a week after or a year, we love to hear from you ❤️ Hello to all the wonderful wedding team, it’s almost 1 whole year since we married at the most exquisite wonderful place to get married, our 1st year of being married has been a whirlwind, but we haven’t forgotten about any of you at the hundred house, especially Gem, Kerry and Izzy, our wedding day was wonderful & this started from the moment I arrived to stay the night before in the hundred house carriage. When our day finally arrived all the staff that we had come across was all so calm, organised and smiling, but most of all so attentive to not only me and my husband but to all our guests, right from the cleaners to the amazing chefs and everyone in-between you were all fabulous. Me and my husband would not of wanted to of got married anywhere else or to be surrounded by anyone else you are all truly amazing at what you do & you all made our day and much more and for that we will be forever grateful. Who’s Hungry? (Disclaimer- Don’t watch this if you’ve not yet had your lunch- will cause major hanger…) What a grazing table and what a review to come into today , thank you both so much for taking the time- it is always appreciate 🥰 Morning Gem, we don't know where to start with our gratitude for everything you have done to make our Wedding everything and more that we wanted it to be. From start to finish you and everybody at the Hundred House Hotel have been amazing!! We always had high hopes when we found the Hundred House of what we wanted our day to be like but it turned out to be so much more than everything we envisaged. Please can you thank Kerry, the Chefs, the bar staff, the reception staff, the DJ and even the poor guy cleaning up the confetti the next morning!! everybody has commented on the unique nature of the Hotel and barn and how perfect it was for our day and how it made it the intimate wedding that we so wanted for our family and friends to share with us. Those that stayed have also said how beautiful and quirky the rooms are. As you know we have eaten at the restaurant on 3 or 4 occasions and the food there is incredible but everybody enjoyed the grazing table and hog roast so much, everybody had plenty to eat and there was still plenty left and it tasted as good as the food in the restaurant and was presented amazingly!! Obviously I have asked you to thank every body else but we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done, I bet we have been a bit pedantic from exact playlists, and all the finer details but you have accommodated and sorted our every request and for that we are so grateful so thank you very much. Thank you so much once again we will definitely be back to eat and bring back some of the memories we made on Saturday. Christmas Weddings 5 Reasons Why We Love Them 1. Lighting…ohhh the lighting.. our large chandelier, log fires burning, gardens full of festoon bulbs and fairy lit ceilings.. The Hundred House lends itself to a Christmas Wedding. With the dark coming earlier it really is such a magical place when it’s all lit up! 2. Extra Decorations for no extra money.. from Wreaths to Christmas Tree’s... 3. Seasonal Food & Drink – Mince Pie washed down with a Mulled wine anyone? 4. Theming- you can reeeally go to town on the Christmas theme here – naming tables after Christmas films or reindeers, having Christmas music playing as you eat your wedding breakfast, candy cane favours and maybe even invite Santa to give out some presents? 5. Everyone, and we mean everyone is in the celebrating spirit at Christmas time! Great Auntie and Uncle who usually sit at the side at family gatherings, you bet ya there first on the dancefloor for a Christmas boogie!
