Hi everyone.

Some of you may know that I decided to give my eco shop another go. I am therefore going to look into closing this page down.

If you are following this page for my painting kits, these are now being sold in my shop.

If you are following because of the sweets, there is now an amazing sweet shop next to my eco shop that sells pick and mix so please pop along and check it out.

I've got 6 of these hand knit garlands. They are approx 50in long and the bulbs are a bit smaller than a can. These are absolutely stunning. They are £12.50 each and I can post out for postage cost xx

Whoop whoop - here it is finished.

This kit comes in a beautifully presented box and contains 4 ornaments, 6 paints, 4 threads and a brush. These are available to order now for only £5 a set.

Cuteness overload. I've bought some different moulds and the detail on them is perfect. I've got some more Christmas ones due to arrive shortly so once these arrive I can start on the Christmas Eve boxes xx

First few practice shapes ready to dry. I'm looking at selling these in gift boxes of 4 or 6 with 6 paints and a brush. They will come with holes for hanging and will include string. So excited to get this up and running properly xx

I've been busy behind the scenes preparing for a slightly different angle on the party bag business. People who know me know that I love crafts and I really wanted to do something along those lines.

I will launch the first items once the kids are back at school.

So a couple of weeks ago I posted about an award I had won. Well here it is - The High Street Hero Award. Now, I'm not exactly sure why I won it as all I did was run a sweet shop lol. However, I am extremely grateful to everyone who nominated me. My little shop gave me a reason to get up everyday and I loved meeting and chatting to people. Sadly, I just couldn't make the shop work in the location it was in or get a grant to progress things and it was causing me a lot of stress. I wish I had received the call about the award 2 days earlier before I closed as it would have given me the boost I needed to keep going and work out a solution. I thought I would be able to make it work as an online business but on reflection, leaving the shop also meant losing my storage space and sweets were starting to take over the house. I'm not really sure now where I go from here. I love Oakengates, the people and other traders there so hopefully another shop on the high street will become available and next time I might be able to actually get a grant to set up properly so here's hoping to seeing you all again soon ###

Good morning all.

Unfortunately, due to various reasons, I won't be taking any orders for sweets for the foreseeable future. There is so much wastage involved in selling sweet cones at events/stalls and without the shop I've no longer got the outlet to sell the surplus. I'm also taking a bit of time out for my own health.

You have all been amazing over the last year and I want to thank you for your continued support xx

Today I received a call to say I have won an award (all will be revealed soon) but it feels bittersweet as I was voted for when I had my shop. I am a massive supporter of the high street so feel bad that I have gone online (due to lack of footfall) but please be assured that I will continue supporting Oakengates as a retailer based at home in the town, a customer to the many wonderful businesses that are there and as an active member of the Chamber of Trade. Hopefully one day soon, you will see me in a shop on the high street again.

I am so thankful to all of the customers I had in the shop and I hope you will continue coming to me for all of your sweetie needs. Just drop me a message with what you want and we can arrange collection.

Teachers gifts are on their way too but I don't want to make them up too soon as I want them as fresh as possible.

Good morning all.

I would like to welcome you all to the new improved Bee Sweet & Party. I know I could have gone for a completely new branding but I quite like my sweetie bee.

So, what will I be doing? Sweet Cones, Sweet Boxes, Sweet Bags (pretty much similar to before), BUT, with the addition of ready made party bags. These will be themed and will include a selection of goodies (books, stationery, bracelets, snapbands, puzzles, etc).

Products will be sold via my new website (currently just putting it together but my IT skills are a bit out of date lol), via my Etsy shop and of course via Facebook and Instagram. A TikTok shop is also being considered but I need to get my 17 and 21 years olds on this as TikTok is lost on me.

Items can be posted out via Royal Mail or collected from Business Retreat Boutique which is located near the top of Market Street in Oakengates (I am also looking at local delivery but this will come with a charge).

I am booked into some fayres and taking bookings for more so if you or someone you know is organising a summer/Christmas fayre then please pass my name on or send me the details.

I think that just about covers it all. I've really enjoyed my time running an actual shop and looking forward to maybe jumping into that again in the future but for now I'm excited to work from home as well as out and about and spend more time with my granddaughters.

Evening all.

The news I never really wanted to announce but I've decided to give the shop up. Unfortunately, try as I might, I just don't get enough customers actually coming into the shop to buy sweets. Most of my sales come from the party side of it so I'm going to be setting up either from home or another location if I can find one but it won't be an actual shop, just a collection point and a place to sell online from.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in this venture. I've met some amazing people and feel like I'm letting them down but it just wasn't meant to be. I will be winding things down over the next few days and will probably reduce the pick and mix sweets down to get them gone.

This page will be kept open as I have plans, I just need to get the new idea up and running so please watch this space.

Introducing the Retro Sweet Box.

Let's take a trip through the Fizz Wiz of the Sherbet Fountain of youth and have a Chewit on some of our old favourite sweets. Let's pick up our Drumsticks and drum to the Melody Pop of our childhood. Don't worry about the weather, if the 'Rain'bow Drops arrive, you can Double Dip in the 'Ocean' Jelly. And, if sweets aren't your thing, you can always have a Fruit Salad lol.

Containing some of the best sweets from our childhood, these sweets come in a ribbon tied box with a personalised message inside.

These cost £12.50 each and can be posted out for Royal Mail postage costs or collected from Oakengates, Telford.
