The incredible sausage & cider festival arrives in Telford for the very first time on Saturday 9th September at the QEII Arena

Good Morning,

Thank you to everyone who attended Sausage and Cider festival Telford this weekend on the hottest recorded day of the year.

Thank you for your support as we faced lots of challenges with atmospheric pressure on the day.

Last night at 22:42 we were advised by the event health and safety team to end the event 18 minutes early due to near by lightning strikes, registering as ground strikes within a 3 mile radius.

A show stop is always the last resort for any event organiser.

Earlier in the evening as a precautionary safety measure we actioned a short safety stage closure when lighting ground strikes were registering nearby before the Kopycat Killers were due to perform.

We thank everyone for their understanding.
