I'm Amy Lucy a mum of two and a lover of all things art and design. After enjoying a full education in design I started my own Brand in 2017 focussing on my designs on personalised gifts. During testing of our new three wick candles we found after two long burns in our home the scent was still strong and the candle had only gone down a small amount.

This new home candle is the perfect gift for a loved one just moving into their new place! Our personalised new home candles are very popular as a meaningful gift for your loved ones.

This candle burns for 55hrs approximately which give you many hours of yummy candle goodness.

All of our candles are made from a natural coconut wax, they are vegan friendly and we use quality oils to. They are hand poured in house so they are custom made from start to finish.

We also offer them unscented for those with allergies

1. Amy Lucy is run by a husband and wife team, me Amy and Mark my husband, we have seasonal staff as needed.
2. We fit our working hours around our life -our two teenagers they are our reason.
3. We are crazy dreamers which is equally dangerous and fabulous but it’s takes a lot of crazy to run a business.
4. We also run a hen party website which is what we did first called henpartysuperstore
5. We’ve had lots of highs like providing gifts for
the only way is Essex, or Keeley Hawes. But also lots of lows like letting staff go in covid or dropping a £1000 machine.

Amy Lucy was born to help people find the perfect gift that actually means something to their loved ones. Our aim is to provide you with the perfect gift and to make the process as easy as possible.

Hi I’m Amy from Amy Lucy. I’ve always had a love of art and design I almost went to complete my masters in London but my fiancé met me outside with the biggest bunch of roses and I knew then that I wanted to marry him more. Mark has always supported me and helped me to build a business we both love.

This year has been a challenging one, but we are having a pivot and building back up.

I’m looking at going back to basics in essence and building the business stronger with more unique hand drawn gifts / prints/ more from our handmade candles and handmade soaps. I wanted a brand based on my artwork more eco friendly with lovely packaging . A brand to go into the shops or your artisan market so here we are making small steps to get there! We’ve been making our handmade candles in-house now for nearly two years. We’ve always wanted to make them in house to give us more flexibility in scent and jars. We’ve gone for an external storage space this time. It seems to be working well so far. It’s much more affordable, they will take our deliveries, there is plenty of space and opportunity to get more space in high season! It does take more time but it seemed to be a good option so we can continue to work from home. We generally make a four days a week pick up for the items we need. A bit about me!!!- My name is Amy I have two young children a loving husband and a love of beautiful things. I like to laugh and have fun and I enjoy making others happy. I don’t like to take life too seriously. I love to learn and travel and see old beautiful art and buildings. I play the piano, I find it brings me great peace. I enjoy life and like to stay positive.

After studying Art and design and having my babies I started studying pattern design, I learnt how to repeat patterns and to make repeats. I then started to draw pattern after pattern, until my husband said its time to stop drawing patterns and start to turn it into a business.

With my families support I started an Etsy shop www.amylucy.uk and started to sell patterns on personalised gifts. We already owned henpartysuperstore www.henpartysuperstore.co.uk by then which sold lots of personalised gifts from our warehouse this enabled me to develop products within the warehouse. As the business grew the businesses were joined. We now have a successful Etsy shop that is in the top 10 in the UK sellers and top 10 world wide on a high sales day!
