Outside my comfort zone as I’m not a girly girl (flowers are not my strength). However … painting décolletages is something I’d love to do more (weddings, hens parties , corporate events etc). So will spend Summer practising ideas.

Today’s challenge: to paint a butterfly using just one onestroke paint and one brush! Thinking outside the box ..: using the heel and toe of the brush for the linework and abdomen and even the tip of the brush handle for the dots.

This year I am re-opening bookings for SMALL events(birthday and hen’s parties up to 20) / stage production makeup/ baby bump painting (for arranged photo shoots). I will currently be taking on party work during school holiday/half-terms only.

Health and Safety , even without COVID’s presence , is always paramount when facepainting in public. One sponge and dauber per colour, per child. Washing, rinsing of brushes and enough of each type to allow drying whilst working. This may add time spent between customers and means my party size limits are 20 for 2 hours. This is to ensure decent paints and care taken between is met.
