You know how some decisions just feel instantly right? That’s exactly how Tom and Alice felt about their wedding venue – it simply had to be the National Trust gardens

These gardens were a haven for them during lockdown, and it’s no wonder they chose them as the stunning backdrop for their ceremony. Which was full of laughter and wonderful readings from their mums, before exiting in a confetti tunnel of petals.

The celebrations continued at the nearby Manning’s Heath Golf Club, where they enjoyed drinks, speeches,and pub quiz hosted by their dads and of course, dancing! We can’t forget to mention Tom’s incredibly talented sister who baked their wedding cake – a 2 tiered cake made entirely of cookie Let’s just say, it was so delicious, I still about it when I have coffee.

Abby and Robbie had the most beautiful, laid-back wedding day! They said “I do” at the lovely Say I Do Islington. Afterwards, we headed out to the iconic stairs for some confetti fun and family photos.

The celebrations continued at Megan’s Restaurants in Islington, where we enjoyed delicious food (the halloumi fries were unreal!) and heartfelt, hilarious speeches.

To top off the day, we all headed to their favorite pub for a super fun wedding quiz. Of course, Team Bride and Groom were the winners!

Have the best honeymoon, and good luck with the big move to Australia! 🇦🇺

Hey 👋🏻 it been a while since I’ve said hello there’s a few new people round here so here goes! I’m Ian, or Sidey as my friends call me. I’m a wedding photographer based in West Dulwich, South East London, and I share my life with my amazing partner, Jon. We met while backpacking around Australia.

✨So, how did I end up here? Well, my love of travel sparked a passion for capturing memories. I realised how important it is to freeze those amazing moments in time. That’s when I decided to become a wedding photographer back in 2013. My first gig was my best friend’s sister’s wedding – a full-on Scottish party! It was exhilarating, and I knew I’d found my calling.

✨What I love most about weddings is the people! Getting to know incredible couples and their loved ones is such a privilege. Being part of their special day, capturing all the excitement, love, and joy – and there’s cake, who can say no to a slice of cake, right?

ANDREW + FIONA On the walk around the day before the weather was not looking great 95% of rain from 7am - 10pm, who knew the little known superstition
of burying a sausage in the garden would work treat!

Fiona and Andrew said their I do’s outside in lush walled garden in a beautiful personal & (Legal) humanist ceremony come on England catch up!

Not only did the sausage work a treat we also got 10’mins of magical light while we went for a wander.

What an absolute dream it was to photograph Andrew + Fiona’s day it was wall to wall Joy all day.

What a weekend! I got to hang out at Penguin Beach at with Luci, Alex, their friends, family, and a few furry friends. We started the day with a relaxed morning getting ready at , where Luci and Alex had their first look on the balcony with the St Pancras Clock Tower as a backdrop—serious fairytale vibes! Then we grabbed a cab and headed to the zoo for afternoon tea with their guests. After a wonderful speech by Luci’s best friend, everyone had time to explore the zoo.

With so many great spots and favorite animals, they chose to do group shots around the zoo. They gave guests times and locations to meet as we whizzed around in a golf buggy—very Challenge Anneka style. When we stopped at the old penguin enclosure, our driver asked if we wanted to go in. How could we say no? It’s a gorgeous piece of modernist architecture and even features in ’ “As It Was” video!

Afterward, we all enjoyed ice cream and cocktails before heading to the Penguin Beach amphitheater for the ceremony. Led by the wonderful , she told their story in the most beautiful way, including the oathing stone ritual. It is believed that when a penguin falls in love, they search the entire beach for the perfect pebble to gift their mate, so it was only right to use a ‘perfect pebble’ from Penguin Beach for Alex & Luci. With the penguins as their witnesses, the ceremony culminated in heartfelt, personal vows. It was a tissue-all-round moment!

Afterward, it was all back to the reception where the guests were treated to the amazing .ambrassadors , who kept the floor full all night.

Hello, lots of lovely new followers after an incredible weekend at ,

Hello 👋🏻 I’m Ian, also known as Sidey. I’m based in South East London, but I shoot weddings all over the UK and beyond. I’m obsessed with capturing weddings and all that comes along with them: the confetti, love, smiley faces, and wild nights on the dance floor.

- I have a real love for buying trainers; I have at least 25 pairs.
- I originally wanted to be an actor and trained for three years. I also shoot actors’ headshots , so it’s almost come full circle.
- I saw Titanic 10 times in the cinema.
- I couldn’t live without my camera, music, coffee, and going to the theatre.
- My first wedding was my best friend’s sister’s wedding. It was terrifying, but I loved it. Ten years later, here we are, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Rhian and Andy’s wedding was truly the perfect finale to my 2023 season. From the moment I met them at the UN Wedding Show at Shoreditch Studios, I knew they were something special. It was a full-circle moment to see their wedding unfold in the same venue where we first met.

The intimate space lit with warm festoon lights set a magical festive ambiance, especially with spotlights on the ceremony cove, beautifully adorned with Jayne’s from deconstructed floral arch.

Aggie, the celebrant, delivered a touching and personal ceremony filled with laughter, joy, and maybe a happy tear or two, before the two exited in a Flutter Darlings storm.

Following dinner and heartfelt speeches, the dance floor came alive, with Rhian leading the way in her classic white Nike Air Force kicks. Thanks to the incredible Super Soul Band, the dance floor remained packed all night long.

When Alison told me that the decor plans were in full swing for Christmas vibe, I was super excited. Festive sunglasses, a gold tinsel ceremony backdrop, disco balls, and light-up fairy light headbands –
it was everything and more!

The ceremony was super relaxed and fun, just like these two. Lovely readings by their friends, who were giving angels from the Nativity.

Just before heading in for dinner, a weather miracle happened. The clouds parted, giving us a glorious golden winter sun. I say a miracle a just behind them, what usually is a stream had turned into raging river rapids from the torrential rain and broken there was broken branches due to gale-force winds earlier in the day.

After dinner and speeches, it was dancing time, and they certainly knew how to party. Alison crowd surfing and a friend joining the band for a couple of songs – I thought I had seen it all.

Time to share some more amazing wedding that I had the pleasure of capturing last year. This is Andrew + Rachel who had there ceremony at the beautiful in late sept and the sun shone for these two, after saying there I Do’s they headed out for confetti and treated by traditional Sri Lankan dancers.

Said their I do’s at the wonderful Brighton Town hall back in october after the intimate ceremony with close friends and family, we all headed back to on the seafront, with the weather being so awful I thought weren’t going to get the beautiful Brighton sunset.
Just as dinner was finishing magic happened the clouds parted and we had the most glorious golden hour ( Well 20 mins) on the beach and pier before dashing back as the sky went back to black and the torrential rain came.

Megan and Josh received their gallery this week, and what a total joy it was to work on, especially now with the colder, dark nights.

It was the city wedding, starting off with getting ready at in the heart of Shoreditch before taking a cab to the iconic for their 'I Dos,' exiting through a confetti storm thanks to .

After a few family photos, everyone boarded a classic London Routemaster to in Belgravia, where they enjoyed we had a wee wander and were treated to the most glorious golden hour. and this amazing classic car before heading back for pizza and partying.

Hannah + Jack got married at the beautiful bandstand in battersea park which is my favourite park in london

In a wonderful ceremony conducted by their friend and with the most personal and heartfelt vows there was not a dry eye in the house with the ceremony over the exited under a flurry of confetti and bubbles.

They had the perfect weather for the day so as the sun was beginning to set we went for a wander through the park and to the iconic albert bridge for the last of the golden hour.

Katie and Mike said their I Do’s at the amazing . I love the exposed brick and industrial vibes, softened by all the plants and greenery, and its stunning chandelier.

It served as the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony with close family and friends, followed by champagne and a fun quiz hosted by the best man. There were also some of the most nail-biting beer pong battles I've ever seen.

Katie and Lachlan kicking off married life with a confetti storm and a kiss straight out of an old Hollywood movie.

Capturing their wedding celebrations was an absolute delight, and they sure knew how to throw a party at the incredible . With friends and family joining from all corners of the world, I knew this was going to be an epic celebration

In their desire to spend quality time with their loved ones, they opted for a heartwarming first look, followed by lively family group photos and a playful champagne spray, leading up to the main event – a profoundly personal and meaningful ceremony conducted by the wonderful .

In keeping with their relaxed festival vibe, they skipped the formal sit-down meal and instead had mouthwatering food trucks from and , with a sweet treat from .uk to wrap it up.

After lawn games and basking in the glorious golden hour, they all danced the night away beneath a canopy of festoon lights and stars.

Had the pleasure of delivering Eilidh + Josh’s Gallery this week and it was a beaut! They said their I Do’s on the bonnie banks of Loch Ard in a beautiful, heartfelt and emotional ceremony conducted by their friend read the wonderful piece callled Smell the Love which had the guests roaring with laughter and beautiful musical renditions of Touch The Sky from Brave & Wild Mountain by Thyme very fitting with the incredible Ben Lomond in the background it was a full circle moment as that is where Josh popped the question to Eilidh

They defied all the weather predictions and got themselves some glorious sunshine, this moment was captured just before they headed in for dinner and dancing, of course it wouldn’t be a Scottish wedding with out a Ceilidh which set the dance off 🔥
