There’s a million and one things to think about when wedding planning, so let’s make it a little bit easier and share some tips when it comes to signage...
1. Decide whether you want to match or complement your colour scheme/decor.
You’ve gone for pastel florals & similar neutrals with your table linen. Do you want your signs in the same pastels, or do you want something neutral to complement them, but stand out? Either is great, but deciding this narrows down what you’re looking for and helps with creating your pinterest board😉
2. List your needs and wants.
Your needs are going to be your welcome sign, table plan and table numbers. These are your biggest/main pieces and the stars of the show! (Besides you two or course). Your wants might be bar signs, an order of the day, an unplugged ceremony sign, or custom placecards. Things that will enhance the day for your guests, but not necessities! This ties in with tip 3...
3. Set your budget!
You might have a long list of signs you want (& neeeed), but can you accommodate it in your budget?
Are you going to find a supplier or are you DIYing? If finding a supplier, whose style do you love? What are their prices? What do they offer? And similarly, with DIY, what supplies do you need to purchase to make your signs?
There’s no rules, do what makes you happy🤍
