So finally the upstairs, and Dance & Music side of The Costume Cabin is cleared and sorted. We still have a whole load of cataloguing to get done but from tomorrow we are venturing downstairs to the Drama floor.

And we are in! The Costume Cabin has begun it's move into our new premises. There is going to be a great deal of lifting and shifting over the next few weeks but soon you will be able to pop in and see us.

***EXCITING NEWS***
The Costume Cabin has found its new home.
After lots of searching we have found a fab premises where we can get all our fab costumes organised and ready for you. We will begin moving next week and hope to have our doors open very soon.

Its been a bit quiet on here as we have been running lots of holiday sessions and we have been picking up lots of items donated by Central Youth Theatre. We now have more costumes than we could have ever dreamed off this early on in our project. We are now looking for a more permanent home and whilst we have some interesting prospects it would be great if anyone knew of anything around the black country. Drop us a message guys :)

The Costume Cabin would like to say an enormous thank you to Central Youth Theatre for the huge donation of costumes that we have picked up today and will be picking up tomorrow.
We met a lovely bunch of ladies and we really hope that we can work with them in the future.

So we have now sorted, and catalogues over 1000 costume items. Tomorrow is our big volunteer day. If you are free it would be great if you could pop along and give us a little hand. We are also running really low on boxes.
If you have any shoe boxes for accessories, crisp size boxes for costumes or any plastic boxes we would be super grateful. Any boxes of any size though would be super and we would be really grateful

A bit at a time... We are over 600 items catalogued and sorted. Again a big thank you to our volunteers and also to the wonderful company who donated lots and lots of boxes. You're all amazing.

So far we have managed to check, catalogue and pack 322 individual costumes. There are still many many more to go but it is coming along nicely :)
