I love seeing my couples after their big day… I need closure as much as they do!!

Conner and Maya had a totally beautiful ceremony, held in an ancient woodland on private land just outside Tonbridge.

We all gathered underneath a Forest school canopy that had been specially decorated for the occasion and witnessed as they shared their vows, exchanged rings and had a very special Handtying with a beautiful plaited cord…

Oh, and I told their very special story. Love at first sight on their first day of work at - can you guess?? - The British Heart Foundation… well, it had to be, didn’t it?!

I’m home now and back on the case for my super lovely, kind, patient and understanding couples (why am I surprised? They are my couples… how could they be anything else?! 💞)

And, I know he won’t read this because he’s not on social media, but the biggest thank you must go to my lovely husband, who kept the family show on the road whilst I jumped on a plane and was absolutely behind me, supporting me emotionally and practically (especially when I left my phone in a taxi 🙈 - another story!!)

Well, what did I learn from my trip to Stonehenge?
⛈️
1. You can plan as much as you like, for as long as you like, but sometimes things just don’t go to plan!
⛈️
2. That that can be absolutely beautiful! And energising! And being out in that weather is an incredible experience!
⛈️
3. Weather can change in an instant up on those plains… and you can watch it roll in… and roll away!
⛈️
4. In that wind, hats, umbrellas and definitely ‘light as a feather’ floral headdresses are utterly pointless!
⛈️
5. And that all you need for a true handfasting is purity of intention and deep soul connection 💞
⛈️
6. And, if you’re dreaming of doing it at @stonehenge , it helps if you have a #glasshalffull outlook, an easygoing nature and a wicked laugh!

Oh, and I also learnt that my boots were in no way waterproof… but that cloak absolutely was!! 😂
