Due to a situation beyond our control, we regret to inform our clients that certain recent accusations have resulted in the seizure of all business assets, including external hard drives containing critical video files that many of you are waiting for. Subsequently, we are currently unable to complete any ongoing wedding films or transfer raw video files at this time.

This matter is now judicial, and we are working through the necessary legal channels to resolve it. We apologize for the inconvenience and further delay that this will cause, however it is completely out of our hands.

We hope to resolve this as swiftly as possible; In the meantime we have also been advised to cease all Client correspondence until this matter has been resolved. The page will be updated as and when we have information to share.

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

As we say goodbye to this year, I want to take a moment to reflect. It’s been one of the most challenging years I’ve faced, to date. One of which I didn’t think I’d be here to see the end of.

Contrary to what some might imagine, it hasn’t been a whirlwind of luxury or endless holidays. It’s been hard work, countless obstacles, hair loss, anxiety, depression; to name a few.

Due to ongoing health challenges and the immense strain that running this business has placed on me, I kindly ask that you send an external hard drive as soon as possible. This will allow me to securely copy your raw wedding footage and return it to you promptly. There may come a time when this can no longer be offered and I would like everyone to have their RAWs.

Please do send a 128gb/256gb external hard drive, as I cannot promise you will get back the exact one sent as specified umpteen times previously to

I do not however, have enough externals that correspond to the amount of people insisting they’re waiting for RAWs.

FOR CLARIFICATION

“found your footage/sourced your footage” doesn’t mean I lost it and then have found it, it means I have searched for the next set of RAWs in the abundance of externals and SDs of weddings I have to go through and then located all of the bits needed ie drone footage, any audio and raw video files.

Clients whom have got a lot of emotion tied up in their wedding video due to dying family members, ill family, deceased family have been scared and upset, messaging me as they’ve been told I’ve lost chunks of RAWs. Now don’t get me wrong, this unfortunately can happen as technology can always be somewhat unreliable, but to scaremonger people in to saying I’ve lost months of footage without any evidence to back this up is absolutely absurd. Please, “Fiona Nightingale” stop reading so much in to the wording of a post!

Sarah D-‘s wedding ceremony was unfortunately unable to be located and I’ve spent a good couple of months relentlessly trying everything I could think of. This too now has been recovered so please, stop with the unnecessary “rumours”.

Staying out of drama and negativity gets you a long way.

There was some content creation that did get deleted in a situation which I will not go in to detail about as the people involved know the details, but to lie and say I’ve lost months of footage for full films is uncalled for.

ALSO

RAW files are exactly that, in their RAWEST form. It will be overexposed, unexposed, lots of pointing at the floor, fumbly shots, blurry bits etc
An editor takes the RAWs and makes something watchable and wonderful from that. It’s what you do with the RAWs that makes your wedding video what it is. Sometimes you’ll only get a 2second clip out of a minute long video, but it’s HOW you edit that into the end project that matters. I think people are expecting this watchable incredible footage which will not be the case until is is edited in to a final film.

Can I please ask clients whom are awaiting RAWS to send an email titled AWAITING RAWS with your wedding date in the email body and address as again, some are being sent without any paperwork and it’s leading to confusion.
