New followers so let me introduce myself ☺️ This is going to be Raw & Real! My name is Amy, I'm 34 years old. I have a little boy who is 17 months old called Roman who is pictured with me ( he was 5 months in the photo) time flies & he is definitely the boss in my life 😂🥰 there may be times he might be at my sessions with me & youl get to meet him for real.

So where to begin... let's start with being open & honest in why I decided to do Glow baby sensory & childrens tuff tray play in opening In the Gloment

I really struggled becoming a first time mum, no one tells you how hard it can be & nothing prepares you for how much your life is about to change. I had a traumatic birth which ended with me having to have a C-section, i was so sleep deprived before he even arrived, i became very poorly. Once home I spiralled down even more, I struggled with eating & getting fluids inside of me & I ended up back in hospital, I remember telling the nurses that im going to die because i was so weak & poorly. I Suffered with PND, My life just felt like it was sucked out of my body, running on no sleep, and what ever sleep/rest I did get felt like I had no sleep at all and the whole newborn stage i was just too poorly to remember.

People kept telling me it will get easier, Anyway it did, time passed, I started bonding with my son, & enjoyed all the smiles & cuddles I missed out on in the newborn stage 🥰 Roman kept me going, and kept me busy.

I also remember how it was a very super lonely time for me, Everyone had there own lives/routines/normality and things going on, which I struggled with as I just felt trapped & alone. I had very little support around me which made things harder.
Days were long but were quickly just turning into nights, and I was stuck in this mum bubble at home, just to do it all over again the next day.
I suffer with anxiety, but it was 100x worse when I had my little boy, to the point i couldn't even leave my house, so my days felt even longer being stuck in at home.

I pushed through my anxiety one day to a free group, In the hope to meet some new mum friends. There Was moments I wanted to turn around in the car & head back home to my baby bubble, my safe place, but i didnt, I kept driving untill I got to the group. When I arrived I met some lovely parents, and we had a good natter & it was so nice to be out of the house having adult conversation with other parents, I instantly didn't feel alone & knowing other parents were going through what I was too I instantly felt so much better. I just remember driving back home feeling happy that I went that day, and couldn't wait until the next one!.

This gave me so much confidence I started attending more sessions every week, my anxiety got better and now I have a lovely group of girl friends that I meet weekly with our babies all of similar age, & I literally can not imagine my life without them now. So I have alot to thank Roman for.

So thats a little mental health background, So Why 'in the Gloment'❓️...

So my sessions are based on how I felt, and what I could do to make me and others feel better.

the loneliness i felt - going to groups saved me, so having a group setting where other parents could have the chance to meet other parents and make new friends meant alot.
the high constant anxiety i felt- So having a relaxing mood glow room with peaceful music which helps reduce and ease anxiety meant alot.
I chose the name 'in the Gloment' which was created for being 'in the moment' for Yourself and your baby, so that you can both take that time out to bond together surrounded by the Glowing lights ✨️

The sessions I have created are a Calm relaxing safe space So that you & your baby can come along & feel completely Zen. We have Relaxing visual lights, peaceful music, all which Helps to reduce and ease anxiety making you feel more relaxed and in the moment with your little one.. as we know how tough & tiring being a parent can be... so I wanted this session to be about YOU too, where you can come and relax, and enjoy the session too!

Having attended various different baby groups the most important thing from it all was bringing people together in similar circumstances as myself and a sense of community and togetherness between parents.

I also know how It feels having savage anxiety, and being nervous leaving the house meeting new parents, as I have been there myself, so I totally understand, and I will always be here for anyone who is or has gone through the same.
Or if you suffer with Anxiety just know underneath my smile , i do too, and i got you 🫶🏾
My inbox and door will always be open for anyone who wants to talk 💌
If you are one of those parents feeling anything like i have, wishing you could get out & meet new people, Do it, it will be the best decision you ever make!

So I just wanted to give something back to parent's and bring lots of joy to those beautiful babies and children's of yours.

If someone told me when my son was born that id be running my own baby business hosting sessions with lots of parents and babies, and doing group talks i would of laughed and never would of believed it. But here i am, and i sometimes have to pinch myself that this is real, & how far ive come!

This is slightly different to my usual sessions! This isn't a glow sensory session like i normally do. This is purely Just a Halloween backdrops and babies, where you can come along take a couple cute photos with our two Halloween backdrops.
i will have a couple sensory things out for the babies to play with whilst the backdrops are in use.
You are more than welcome to purchase yourself a coffee & brownie from downstairs coffee lounge and bring it upstairs with you.

This is just a little social setting in a well lit room, lovely photos to take, babies to bond as well as yourself, and of course added bonus if you go for unit 5's brownies!
