Heading up our March program at our new saloon bar discotheque, excavated from the uncharted innards of The Stag, Treorci, this Saturday night we have the return of Trash: A 90s Indie, 60 & New Wave Club.

The club's mix of 90s indie, new wave, 60s and glam rock will pepper the dancefloor till the midnight hour.

Entry is £5 at the door (including a free drink).

There is no night on the 15th, but on every other Saturday through March we will roll to our usual mix of music spanning the eras from the swinging 60s and rock and roll through disco to 1980s and 90s indie counter cultures.

A little insight into our sound at The Building Society. We're lucky that the seating area is separated from the dancefloor in the style of the classic discotheque, which calls for a special arrangement using two different systems balanced together.

So on the dancefloor, beneath the rare 1rpm slow-rotation disco ball, you get the extra warm boom of our full range Bishop Sound speaker, while in the seating area you get the even surrounding kick of our Power Dynamics PA. All is synched under the lamplight in our little machine room behind the tinsel divide

In the foggy haze behind the neon black curtains, with the extra magic of a dreamy, slow-motion disco ball, the club's mix of classic indiepop, new wave, 60s, Motown, Northern Soul and wildcat rock'n'roll will pepper the dancefloor till the midnight hour.

Tonight at "The Building Society", a new 60-capacity saloon bar discotheque etched into Treorchy's oldest pub, The Stag - classic indie, swinging 60s, rock and roll, mod and soul dancing (and drinking) all night long.

Doors: 8pm till midnight. Entry is £5 (including a free drink).

Whether you're paying at the door or have a ticket in advance, head to the main bar to your right when you get here to get your drink and entry stamp.

Come as early as you can to guarantee a table (doors are at 8pm), otherwise it's saloon bar-stool seating or standing and dancing.
The main bar is also open through the day if you'd like to get in early.
