What a lovely day it was today. 🥰

I met lots of couples considering a Celebrant ceremony at The Northern Scot Moray Wedding Show in Elgin. My diary is filling up for 2025/2026 but I’m very much looking forward to the ceremonies I still have to conduct before we reach the turn of the year.

If you are looking for a humorous and relaxed ceremony with a touch of love and romance included to make your special day perfect then please don’t hesitate to get in touch and check my availability. 🗓️ 😊

I’ve got a lot to catch up on with thanking the wonderful brides and grooms that I’ve had the privilege of conducting wedding ceremonies for over the last few weeks, so apologies!

However, I’m delighted to say that I’m attending the Moray Wedding Show this Sunday and I’m looking forward to meeting lots of couples planning their ceremonies. See you there 😁

It has been a rather hectic week again, so I’m a little bit late in posting my congratulations to the wonderful Mr and Mrs Stone! 🥂🍾

I was honoured to conduct their wedding ceremony at Linlithgow Burgh Halls last Saturday and it was a beautiful, funny and heartwarming day. 🥰

The bride and bridal party were stunning and the groom and best men were very handsome in their kilts. 👰🏻‍♀️ 🤵🏼

It’s the first ever time that I’ve had a groom save the day with his Swiss Army knife during the ceremony, but the quaich ceremony went perfectly once he’d de-corked the whisky! 😂 (Offending bottle featured in the photo below)

Wishing them both all the best and a very happy future together! ❤️

Emma Gray Photography was the fabulous photographer for the big day.

I’m very much looking forward to attending the Pittodrie House Wedding Fair at Pittodrie House next weekend. 😁

It’s going to be a fabulous extravaganza of all things wedding, and hopefully I’ll get to meet some wonderful couples looking for a personal and unique ceremony to celebrate their special day. ❤️

Today I conducted the wedding ceremony for a fabulous couple and the venue could not have been more atmospheric!

The absolutely stunning Glencoe at its finest! 🌧️ 💨 😍

It was literally blawin’ a hoolie, but we braved out the heavy rain and at (most) times incredibly high winds.
Not an umbrella was left unscathed and the bride’s father, who very kindly held my broken brolly, was almost blown into the loch at least twice! 💨 ☔️

The bride and groom were certain that they wanted to get married in their chosen spot and I’m so glad we stuck it out because it was both beautiful and hilarious! 🥰😂

A huge congratulations to the brand new Mr and Mrs Richardson! 🥂🍾

P.S I am not selfie kind of person, but this was after the ceremony and it was too good not to post! My hair was straight when we started!

It’s taken me a few days as it’s been a bit hectic, but I was delighted to attend the wedding fayre at the The Mill House Hotel on Saturday.

It was a fabulous day and I met some lovely couples and brides, so hopefully I’ll be conducting some of their ceremonies soon. ☺️

Easter Sunday was spent meeting more lovely couples considering a celebrant wedding and I am very much looking forward to speaking with them all in the next few days. 😊

My diary is filling up for 2024, 2025 and 2026 so if you are considering booking your ceremony with me please get in touch sooner rather than later and hopefully your date is still free in my diary.

It was a very long day yesterday, but I have to say that it was utterly fabulous as I was honoured to conduct the wedding ceremony for 2 friends that I’ve known for around 20 years. 🥰

It took them 27 years to say I do, but they’ve finally done it! 😮‍💨

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Griffiths!
👰🏼 ❤️🤵🏻‍♂️

The venue was Cesars Paradise and they honestly went above and beyond to make sure the day was special for the bride and groom. The soup and steak pie were amazing too! 😋

I’ve just spent 2 fabulous days at the Your Wedding Exhibition and I was fortunate enough to meet many lovely couples considering a celebrant wedding (hopefully me 😁). I also shared a fair few laughs with some of the poor men who looked delighted to be there, well ok they were really just searching for food and beer! 😂
I’ll be sending out more information in the next couple of days and look forward to chatting to the excited brides and grooms.

I was lucky enough to be beside some fantastic suppliers, especially Fairytale Events Northeast, Glen Clova Hotel & Luxury Lodges, Valeria B Studio who were all incredibly helpful, supportive and just genuinely good people. 🥰

I also met owners and staff from lots of lovely venues and I can’t wait to conduct wedding ceremonies at some of them.

For anyone considering becoming an Independent Celebrant I’d highly recommend taking your first step by attending this course by Susan Fraser - Independent Ceremonies. It’s a truthful insight from a long standing and experienced celebrant which may help you to decide if it’s something you really want to do.
Many training courses are offered by individuals and groups (many of whom aren’t that experienced) and people spend thousands of pounds paying for a dream that’s maybe not going to happen.
Susan is knowledgeable and truthful about your real prospects of succeeding in celebrancy, so before you spend your hard earned money on a false dream or a promise just take some time to find out more before taking that leap.

A short course for anyone thinking about a career in celebrancy. Find out what it is really like, and whether it is right for you.

It’s been a very busy weekend and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. 😁

Yesterday I was honoured to conduct a wedding ceremony for a very special and lovely couple at Inchberry Hall. I wish the new Mr and Mrs Lallement the very best of health and happiness in their future lives together 🥂🍾🎊

Today I’ve been at the Big Buchan Bridal Bash wedding fair and it was lovely to meet so many brides and couples looking to arrange their own special day. I’ve had a couple of enquiries from today already and I’m very much looking forward to conducting the ceremonies when the time arrives! ❤️

Yesterday I was honoured to conduct a wedding ceremony at the beautiful Knockraich Farm for a truly fabulous couple! If this isn’t the perfect setting for a wedding then I don’t know what is! We had concerns about the rain, but it held off for the ceremony and it all turned out just perfect! 😊

I am delighted to say that I have now been fully authorised by the General Register Office for Scotland to conduct legal wedding ceremonies. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I have been a celebrant for over 10 years and during that period I have been honoured to officiate at over 2500 life ceremonies, including wedding, baby naming, commitment, renewal of vow and celebration of life services.

I live on the beautiful Moray Coast and mainly conduct ceremonies within the Moray, Aberdeenshire, Inverness-shire and Speyside areas, but I can travel anywhere within Scotland if required.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are planning on getting married in Scotland and would like to enquire about my fully bespoke and tailor made ceremonies.
