🐰 Ahh what a privilege it was to be asked by Rabbit House Studio Photography 🐰 to join for this amazing styled photoshoot at the stunning countryside venue Wooladon Estate. 🐰

Autumn is well and truly here and what a summer it has been! 🤩
I have been lucky enough to perform the most beautiful weddings in the most stunning venues - from Cornwall to Worcester and Devon to Wiltshire 😍
October is going to be a quiet, working behind the scenes kind of month for me - taking some time out to get my website and socials up to date and generally taking it easy before my November weddings!
Enjoy the season, the colours and those colder nights where fluffy pyjamas and hot chocolates are a must 😉

I’m away for the next week in sunny Bulgaria, my lovelies (even though we are due a huge thunderstorm from tomorrow to Wednesday morning!) it’s good to be away.

Oh my goodness! What a busy month!
I had such a great time yesterday with Cherry and Jay for their wedding in the stunning orangery at Tortworth Court. They were super chilled and we had a lot of fun and laughter and, boy! Their families and friends knew how to make some noise! 😆
On Sunday I had the opportunity to experience being an emcee for the first time - just making sure things ran smoothly for Jenny and Rob and, although the weather wasn’t kind, it was the best day with some fantastic photographs taken (they are to come!)
But for now - it’s time for some well-needed ‘R&R’ and a cheeky holiday to Bulgaria to indulge in some chill time before my September weddings kick in!

A bride said to me a couple of weeks ago, that she’d heard that planting/burying a sausage (I’m presuming cooked!) will guarantee you sunshine on your special day.
Well, in what could only be described as one of the wettest July, her day was filled with warm sunshine and not a cloud in sight.
I’ve since come across this on other sites and seems to really be a thing!
Go and grab your sausages people! Lincolnshire, port, bratwurst - whatever you have in the fridge 🤣

My first of eight August weddings are kicking off on Saturday at the for the wedding of Kelly and Sean 🥰
After lots of meeting and chats about their day, they are saying their own vows as they “tie the knot” during their handfasting.
I will also be attending a few venues for the first time! and to name a couple with a trip up t’North thrown in for good measure! 😅

Happy 11th anniversary to us! 🥰
It was his 40th birthday and neither of us were supposed to be going out, but a mutual friend encouraged us to go to the open mic sesh in our local - but not with the intention of us meeting like that!
Oh my god did we laugh. He was funny and quite gorgeous so after a night of dancing and singing and generally being stupid, I gave him my number.
He still makes me laugh now, and I still think he’s hot 🤣

She was from Somerset and he was from Australia…fate took them both to Newcastle where they fell head over heels in love.
A move to Australia, a dodgy encounter with a 6 berth caravan and a surprise proposal at a folk festival was just a small part of their story which I thoroughly enjoyed telling.

Throwback to a couple of weeks ago with the lovely Barbara Millicent Roberts and Kenneth Sean Carson.
They wanted a ceremony which represented them and there was not a dry eye in the house when the groom said his vows.

Most of my couples will be familiar with this background - it is where I conduct my meetings and do most of my work.
We are often joined by Magic, my Collie and she loves to keep me company and say hello to couples that I’m talking to.

🤩This blew me away yesterday 🤩
Laura is from Thermomix - a state of the art wonder that can literally make anything from macaroni cheese to margaritas (yes, a cocktail!) or perfectly cooked eggs to perfectly prepared dough 🤩
It’s a bread maker, an oven, an icecream maker and so much more 🤩
It gives you recipes, tells you how use existing food that you might not use, orders your food and remembers it for next time 🤩

IT’S SELF CLEANING!! 🤩

There are two ways to get married, right? A church wedding or a registrar at your chosen venue…is what most couples are told! 🙈 Well, what they don’t tell you is there is another option…(someone like me!) 🙋🏻♀️ The two very first things you are told when planning your wedding are: book your venue and then get your registrar. Your registrar will probably charge you anything up to £600 to conduct your ceremony at your chosen venue for a 20 minute ceremony (and they don’t like to be kept hanging around!) What they don’t tell you is that you can book an appointment at your local registry office and rock up in your jeans and t-shirt with your two witnesses and get the legal bit sorted (aka the boring bit!) which leaves you TOTAL freedom to choose the venue that you want and a ceremony that is personal, laid back and, let’s be honest, SO much more fun! They charge around £60 for this service (my maths is rubbish but even I know that’s 10% of what they would charge to come to your venue!) You would then need a CELEBRANT - (someone like me!) 🙋🏻♀️who creates a ceremony that you deserve - one that is all about you! I tell your story, we choose readings that suit the two of you and reflect your relationship and incorporate symbolic aspects of your ceremony that a registrar certainly couldn’t give you. “We’d never heard of a celebrant - why doesn’t everyone do this?!?” If you’ve been to a wedding recently, you may remember seeing someone looking at their watch and feeling their pain as they will the bar to open. When I conduct your ceremony, I think it’s so important to involve your guests, from asking them to take their own vows for you (before you’ve even come into the room - I give them a little prep so they know what to expect) and this really gives them the feeling that it’s going to be a bit different from the normal, dry, willing the bar to open-kind of ceremony.
