G&S’s beautiful May wedding
The wedding breakfast was in the stunning Buck Hall. With it’s super high vaulted ceiling, we had to go big! We filled the 3 rows of guest tables with super tall candelabras (over a metre high), filled with Spring blooms and tall, tapered candles. The colour palette was 👌 Layers of pink with accents of plum. The plum was tricky to nail down but we got there! Colours vary so much and there’s always the sweaty palm moment when you open the deliveries to see how the blooms are coming in. Talking of which, I must return to persuading peonies to open in time for Friday!!

This time last year… Happy 1st Anniversary S&S!

Such a beautiful wedding to work on…. arches, urns, 3 metre chandelier and metres of meadows!

And after several days of intense floral creations, I returned home to make up sandwiches for thirty 5 year olds for our daughter’s birthday party! And guess what I’m doing this weekend….

A deconstructed arch for Carla & Brett last week.

We used a lot of big Birch and Cherry branches to match the curve of the door and give it that natural look.

I really wanted it to ‘spill’ out either side to try and give that ‘grown there’ vibe.

It’s hard to give the scale in this photo but it was at least 2.5 metres high, and gave a perfect photo opportunity as everyone left the church.

This was great fun to create and a perfect setting!
Thank you as ever to my wonderful right hand ladies …. remember, no right angles 😉

Bringing the outside in!

A big floral backdrop with lots of seasonal foliage for Chelsea & Ryan’s beautiful ceremony last weekend ❤️

We’re not far off leaping into this main season’s weddings (so many exciting plans), but in the meantime I’m trying to catch up with posting some of the images from last year’s stunning weddings!

I love decorating fireplaces! Multiple bowls and tall, tapered candles worked perfectly running down this long table with a low runner on the bride & groom’s table ♥️ ♥️

On these dark evenings, it’s all about the candles!

This was Holly & Mark’s beautiful, winter wedding last New Year’s Eve house.

We used big candelabras, over a metre high and filled with foliage and foliage on every day. Plus a garland along the balcony full of twinkling lights!

It’s hard to imagine a marquee reception in these sub zero temperatures, but this was Shaunna and Sam’s beautiful late Spring wedding.

A ‘deconstructed’ arch, meadow flowers and big urns with a big 3 metre floral chandelier inside, overhanging a bar lined with even more floral meadows!

Scented garden roses everywhere! 💕

Having a bit of a catch up with all the images from this summer’s beautiful weddings.

This is Melissa & Patrick’s top table in the stunning conservatory.
We ran a low runner along the front with candle filled gaps and big cascading drops at either end.
Lots and lots of white blooms!

Anand and Tom’s beautiful wedding. So much fun all round!

It was a steaming hot day…. hard to imagine now… and we spent a lot of time trying to keep the flowers out of the sun for as long as possible!

It’s been such a busy season that I haven’t managed to get all the images up on IG but will work my way through this Autumn & Winter. So many gorgeous setups!

Ceremony backdrops… so many individual setups and styles are possible. We’ve done lots of different ones this season and each has been completely bespoke to every couple and venue. I think creating these is my absolute favourite part of wedding florals.
These big statement pieces really give that big gasp from guests as they enter plus I love the fact that the couple also only see it for the first time as they walk into the ceremony. Endlessly satisfying!!

We’ve got a few more to create before the end of the year and then it’s time to focus on next year’s exciting plans!

One of the wonderful things about this job is the many different beautiful places that we get to call our ‘office’! This is the stunning Great Hall in Syon House for the gorgeous wedding of K&L. A wedding of so many different parts. We created some big, wild floral urns for the initial ceremony in the Hall.

So excited to be back here in a couple of weeks with some amazing plans… watch this space!

The reception set up for Kayah and Luke’s gorgeous wedding back in May, in the stunning conservatory

One of the great things about this job is the amazing venues that we get to visit and spread our creative sparkle over. Every wedding is different but all equally special.

More exciting floral plans for this space in September ❤️

Something a little bit different here.... mustard and pink!

Once under candlelight the palette gave the room such a warm and intimate feel.

The toffee roses are really unusual and required a special sourcing mission from my amazing supplier.

Using a ‘special’ and rare flower can really add to the uniqueness of each arrangement, personalising it to you without rocketing the cost.

I absolutely love sourcing something a bit different and weaving it into the background. I have a long list of my own favourites!

I cannot wait to get back to beautiful tablescapes again!

and her amazingly unique styling never fails to inspire!

Meadow aisle flowers.... I love doing them!

A low level ‘meadow’ arrangement down either side of the aisle gives that extra special feel as you walk down it. I think of it as running out a floral red carpet!

I’ve added two big statement pieces at the end with the big urns on plinths. These can often be moved to the reception areas after the ceremony, making to most of them.

I kept to pastel colours to compliment the beautiful Ballroom

The big pink blooms are Secret garden roses which are really quite special and definitely not your average rose!

Fingers crossed that we get to flower up more aisles in 2021 🤞

I love this shot from our gorgeous editorial over on

Hanging installations can really give that ‘wow’ factor when you walk into a venue. They’re great fun to create, and I love the challenge of working out the logistics. I worked with the lovely Fran from to keep the table decor underneath simple but definitely not lacking.... with my favourite, beautifully scented white o’hara roses in delicate little bud vases.

The Delphiniums are a good alternative to Wisteria which can be very temperamental and hard to source.

This required a full on family affair to create. My husband built the underlying structure and the girls even hung a Delphinium or two..... although I might admit to rearranging those!
