A fun, friendly and professional pony party and events business based in West Berkshire. I am a busy, animal loving mum of three little children.

Having spent my career working as a Chartered Accountant, after some life changing events and bereavements, I decided that it was time to follow my passion and make the leap and set up my own equine business. After many months of hard work setting up the business I have achieved the highest star licence rating possible for a new equestrian business. I am able to travel to you with my ponies provid

ing pony rides and a pony petting corner for children’s birthday parties, fetes, community events and much more. I have a ready to use venue in Inkpen for pony parties, as well as numerous local venues or we can come to a venue of your choice provided there’s ample outside space for the pony rides (and permission if necessary). A pony party in your garden is also possible! I also offer individual and pairs pony pamper and ride sessions for children, ‘meet the ponies’ sessions with the mini Shetlands, which are great for schools and pre schools/nurseries and therapeutic pony sessions to children, care homes and all kinds of care centres. Fully licensed, insured and DBS checked.

After an incredible two years, I have decided to close The Great Little Pony Company. Managing demand and the substantial insurance and licensing obligations/admin, coupled with increased commitments with my children’s riding & sports activities, (along with running my other business!) has become unmanageable. It is time for me to slow down and refocus.

The past two years have been extraordinary. We’ve brought joy to countless children, met fascinating individuals, worked alongside celebrities (Russell Brand and Chris Evans), and had the humbling privilege of visiting elderly folks, including those living with dementia and end-of-life patients.

My mission was always to create exceptional experiences and lifelong memories with our beautiful ponies, and that we did!

Starting this business was the perfect stepping stone to move away from a corporate role. I hope we have inspired many children to continue their journey into equestrianism, a wonderful hobby and sport. The benefits of being outdoors and building bonds with such sentient animals are truly magical.

The support and five-star reviews we’ve received are a testament to what we’ve accomplished. We even got nominated for a ‘Best new start up’ award which was awesome! I am immensely grateful to my staff for their hard work, passion, and love for all things equine, which has shone through from day one.

I’m excited to further develop my accountancy business (special interest in the equine sector) albeit at a slightly slower pace than this business!

Our ponies will continue living their best lives and creating memories with my children ❤️🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴

Proud mum moment 😍!!! My 6yo son absolutely LOVED gymkhana/ mounted games at a recent show. He was flying!!! 🏇🏼😆 I tell them it’s not all about winning but they do love a frilly and boy he won a stack! 🏵️ SO much fun (I can see why mums go mad for this and get super competitive 😂😂😂). Love these days with my little people and ponies👌🏻❤️🐴 🫶🏻🙌🏻

Here are Blue and Willow enjoying a deep tissue massage 🤗🐴🤗🐴

Equine Sports Massage Therapy is where soft tissues of the horse are manipulated with the goal of loosening tight muscles, joints, tendons and stress points; increasing blood flow and lymphatic activity and reducing stress.

This visit was a routine / maintenance visit and helps keep them feeling GREAT !! 😏

Introducing🐴♥️ Willow🐴♥️ Willow is a Welsh A, 22 years young, has done it all, and after a few years break as a companion, he was bored and wanted a job again!
He joined us in Feb and has slotted in perfectly. He is my son’s pony and has been happy hacking, to pony club rallies and a show. Has been foot perfect and you can just tell he loves a job 🤩 he is such a cool little dude! 😎

A few pictures of Blossom in action at a recent care home visit. The residents had a wonderful time, so many smiles and happy interactions. One resident in particular had dementia and her family had asked that she meet Blossom. Having been quite tired and quiet recently it was magical to see her lovely smile and face light up when she saw her 💖🐴 💫 Some real characters and the wonderful staff make this a very special home.
