🌿An Update🌿

As many of you know, creating Wed In The Highlands Magazine has been a true labour of love. Every issue has taken an incredible amount of energy, heart and dedication, and it has been such an honour to share the beauty of weddings in the Highlands with you 💍✨️

With my pregnancy news (Baby arriving in February 2026 💕) I've had to take a step back and think realistically about what's sustainable. It's simply too much work for one person to carry on alongside this new chapter of life.

I want to thank every single reader, contributor, couple and most of all the incredible wedding suppliers that have been a part of this journey. Your support has meant the world and while this is the end of the magazine, it's not the end of celebrating love, community and the Highlands in other ways.

Look what arrived in the post yesterday! And look who has a two page spread (The Perfect Fit, page 8). Alexandra, who is editor of and owner of (a lady of many talents), was one of my lovely brides last year. I was delighted when she reached out about putting a piece in the magazine. Keep an eye out for her own Real couple section on page 45.

I had such a beautiful day with my friend Becy at where she took stunning photos of my cakes that showcase my work beautifully. I love Becy’s style of photography; her work is sentimental and precious—true art 🫶🏻

I adore how we used the tulle to create a dreamy setting for the cake; it finishes everything off so beautifully. I always discuss the best placement and set-up for your cake with my couples. When creating cakes that are pieces of art, it’s important that your cake stands out on your wedding day and serves as a beautiful centerpiece 🫶🏻
