Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Scotland, Russell Sinclair is a rising blues singer and virtuoso guitarist who weaves love, loss, and the ferocity they bring through every melody. With a guitar in hand and a voice that echoes with raw emotion, Russell transports audiences to the heart of the blues tradition, infusing each note with authenticity and passion.

This Event is supported by the Early Career Promoter Fund which is managed by PRS Foundation and funded by Arts Council England using Supporting
Grassroots Music funding from DCMS.

⭐ SHNIECE ⭐
Shniece will be performing a reggae DJ set accompanied with live vocals both before and after The Cabarats full band show!

As a session vocalist & live performer, singing both lead and backing vocals, Shniece has worked with the likes of Prince Fatty, Monkey Jhayam (Brazil), Fatlip (Pharcyde) Mungos HiFi, Shirley Jones (The Jones Girls), Omar, Earl 16, The Last Poets, David Morales, and has toured Brazil with Prince Fatty and Monkey Jhayam.

⭐ THE CABARATS ⭐
No genre is safe from this band! Dub-infused rhythms and knees-up ska collide courageously with eastern melodies, world instruments and infectious vocal hooks to form an alluring and energetic sound.

This will be The Cabarats last show of the year! 🪗🎺🪕🎸

Today is the National Lottery’s 30th birthday, so what a perfect time to highlight Pogo Events! Let’s look at our starting point and journey so far!

Pogo Events was born in 2022 following a successful Arts Council project, which focused on hosting diverse emerging talent in our city. It focused on multi-genre festival style bands, as we recognised there was a gap in the city for this style of music.

The funding support we received to deliver this project was from the National Lottery and we really can’t see how Pogo Events would have ever become an established promoter in the city without the funding support!

Since 2022, we received support for another funding project which focused on representing female talent within the music industry.

I mean… we may be biased here but from our perspective, delivering our live music programme appears to have made so many positive changes to our city, community members, local musicians and industry workers, as well as providing more musical opportunities to UK and international touring live music acts. Plymouth is coming back on the map again for grassroots artists!

We just want to take this opportunity to thank The National Lottery, Arts Council England and of course YOU for believing in us and our aims. We are so grateful and we hope we can keep delivering a cultural and varied rich line-up of music to our local community at affordable prices ❤️🎶🤞

The Omni Federation is an original four- piece band based in Plymouth. Formed in 2016, they quickly established themselves on the Devon and Cornwall music and festival scene with their uplifting blend of strong, melodic vocals, energetic dance, electro, ska and funky grooves! Great vibes!

Also on the line-up, Sofar Sounds are hosting two secret acts that are in line with the intimate, quality events that Sofar Sounds host in the city while complimenting our headline act, The Barefoot Bandit!
