Fabulous catch up with our friends & charity partner, Neil's Hugs Foundation this morning at The Fuel House Cafe to chat about plans for Slanj Events Ltd Clackmannanshire's Whisky Festival 2023!

We were delighted to hear about the positive knock on effect 2022's festival had on the Charity . Not just by raising funds but more importantly by creating a platform for & raising awareness around su***de prevention. And, given 52% of people aged 16-34 who are suicidal don't seek support, I'm sure you'd agree more awareness is most definitely needed.

Since April's festival, Neil's Hugs Foundation have been working closely with one of our sponsors O-I Glass in Clacks, delivering multiple sessions on su***de awareness and prevention. Each of these sessions were attended by up to 20 members of staff who now know there's always a safe and confidential space to talk in Clackmannanshire. We know it's only August but we have had lots of enquiries about our Christmas plans. So, here's the holy-jolly juice; We will be running 𝓐 𝓥𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓜𝓮𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓦𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱 𝓜𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 & 𝓖𝓲𝓷 𝓣𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓶𝓪𝓼 from the end of November, all the way up to the 23rd of December in Clackmannashire 🌲

We will be demonstrating how to create your very own fresh foliage festive door wreath and assist you in making your own while our team serve up some delicious gins & fizz.

Up your festive game & add a touch of homemade charm to your Christmas 🎅

We have a fabulous opportunity to work at a well known hotel in St Andrews starting 15th August until the end of September.

- General duties & housekeeping

- Max of 7 hours per day, 5 or 6 days pw dependent on your preference

- £15 per hour

- Free accommodation throughout your working week should you need it along with breakfast and lunch.
