Big thanks to Matt Curtis from Kent PA Hire for the hire of the iCOM ip501h last week. These radios helped us when covering over a long distance/built up areas where standard radios struggle. Lydd carnival traffic management complete thanks team. Interesting drive home including a break down then coming across a crash , kept the traffic moving then getting asked by Kent Police to assist for an hour doing the traffic until another unit arrived 🦺🦺 next Sunday sees some of the team working with Royal Marines in Deal! Week after that sees us at Armed Forces day in Ramsgate followed by the Martha Trust Music on the farm which is an epic day

Yesterday saw some of the A&S Event Services team out helping with the Crocus Walk Deal for Breast Cancer Now 2024 💪🏼 supplying first aid, directions and of course moral support. Well done for all those that took part walking from Walmer to St Margarets and back and well done to Kerry Banks for organising. We will also be working with them on Party on the farm at Solley's Ice Cream Parlour. If you have any spare time and want to help, PM us at A&S Event Services to join the team. We are excited to welcome aboard our newest member of the team! Matt is our fully qualified medic and has an awsome array of vehicles at his ready. Wether we are attending events in awkward to reach locations, or to a carnival, Matt has everything to help us cover.

As well as events, Matt spends most of his working times on a lot of film and tv sets with his medical services including the famous series Trigger Point! (lucky him!)

Today starts the run of the Santa Sleigh with Aylesham & Rural Community Heart . The next 2 weeks will see Ash out around Eythorne, Ellington, Nonington, Snowdown, Woolage, Adisham and Aylesham helping raise funds for live saving equipment providing tow vehicle, comms etc. After that the rest of the team will be helping with Ramsgate's New Year's Eve fireworks 🎇 before we have a few months off to party and meetings to progress 🦺

And that's a wrap in Deal. 18 events in 7 days. Finished today with a classic car show, cheese night (yes that was us strutting our moves 🤣) and fireworks! On to Ramsgate tomorrow for their carnival, who's going?

Reggae night in Deal last night was crazy!!! Cheese night and fireworks tonight on Walmer Green! Ramsgate carnival tomorrow!

Just 1 of us back out today in Deal before the main events next Wednesday and Thursday 🦺
