Benthic Zone:

Benthic Zone takes you down below to a world of high fashion and high mischief. She’s half drag queen, half venomous sea slug (on her mother’s side) with a love for big concepts and bigger looks that’ll have you asking “is her carbon monoxide detector working?”

Susie Nova:

Susie Nova is an outta this world, extraterrestrial babe, inspired by vintage fashions with a penchant for all things camp and kitsch.

A superstar of the Nottingham scene, her original make-up artistry and awe-inspiring costumes make her a unique voice in UK drag. She placed second in the Norwich Drag Pagaent 2022, was a quarter finalist of the Next Drag Superstar Season 4, sits on the judges panel for the Nottingham Drag Pagaent and curates LGBTQIA+ events as Gay Up Duck.

Priscilla Shona Krakow:

This queen has comes all the way from Poland (via Derbyshire). Hold onto your socks because she loves to blow people… away! The unforgettable Priscilla Shona Krakow!

Trans Day of Visibility.

We want to recognise that being a visible trans person currently is difficult, it takes a lot of courage and bravery. Sometimes we don't have that choice. TBA offers a space where trans people can take refuge from the world, recharge their batteries and build resilience.

We believe that the community deserves and needs a space where we can nurture ourselves, where we can see each other and celebrate. 💙🤍🩷

Unfortunately we've had to make the decision to cancel the 5th of April. We have done our best to avoid this and find alternatives, sadly one of the organisers is dealing with some health issues and at the moment we don't have anyone who can take over. Please contact the venue for a refund.

We will make an announcement when we have a new date for this, until then we will see you all on 2nd May.

Heart And Soul is a jazz themed pride party based at The Hound Dog in Derby! The ticket link is now live and can be found at the end of this post 'early entry' is a discounted ticket option available for a limited time.

The night will include: a host, drag acts, musician, best outfit award and a lip sync competition!

All of our acts are local LGBTQ+ individuals. We believe in creating a space for local people by local people.

Déda is fully accessible for wheelchair users, with adapted toilet facilities. Wheelchair friendly parking is available at the car park opposite the venue entrance.

We have an allocated quiet space available for this event with fidget toys.

No strobe lighting or smoke machines will be used at this event.

Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs are welcome.
