Planning an intentional event? Here are some things to consider:

Cultural Considerations
* Local customs, traditions, and etiquette. Local food and entertainment preferences and avoid the major holidays or cultural events.
Logistics and Legalities
* Choose a venue that is accessible and meets the local rules. Check for permits, visas, and legal requirements and be aware of time zones and travel needs.
Communication and Support
* Provide translation or multilingual options. Consider using technology for hybrid or virtual participation to increase reach and work with local suppliers for smoother operations.

Happy Monday!

We are thrilled to announce that we are currently in the planning stages of an exciting event at the prestigious Lille Grand Palais in France! This remarkable venue, known for its stunning architecture and versatile spaces, offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. Our team is eagerly looking forward to our onsite visit in January.

Why are venue visits so crucial before planning an event? Walking through the venue allows us to visualise the flow of the event, assess the layout, and identify the best locations for key activities. It’s a chance to interact with the venue staff, who can provide invaluable insights about logistics, technical requirements, and any potential challenges we may face.

Visiting the venue in person also helps us to ensure that it aligns with our vision and the expectations of our attendees. We can evaluate the ambience, lighting, and even the acoustics, which are all essential elements that contribute to the overall atmosphere of the event.

Stay tuned as we prepare for this exciting journey, and we can’t wait to share more updates as we approach January! 🥳

Are you putting time and energy into planning events but not seeing the success you hoped for? Many event organisers face common challenges that can make or break an event. Here are five key reasons why your events may be falling short:

1. Lack of Clear Objectives
Without well-defined goals, it’s hard to measure success. Ensure you know “why” you’re hosting the event and set specific, measurable outcomes to aim for.

2. Poor Audience Engagement
An event is only as strong as its audience. If you’re not engaging your attendees before, during, and after the event, they won’t stay connected or excited. Interactive sessions, social media, and polls can boost involvement.

3.Ineffective Marketing
If no one knows about it, turnout will suffer. A strong, targeted marketing strategy is crucial. Use social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to build awareness.

4. Weak Event Experience
First impressions matter! From registration to the post-event follow-up, the attendee experience should be seamless. Disorganisation, tech issues, or a lack of personal touch can turn guests away for future events.

5. Failure to Follow Up
Many organisers miss out by not following up with attendees. Post-event feedback surveys, thank-you emails, and exclusive offers help build lasting relationships and improve future events.

Today we are throwing it back to our first major event! Our journey began at the Mobility Roadshow at Silverstone in 2016- definitely a big one for us at that time but we’ve come so far since then. 🙌 Fast forward to today, and we’re proud to have been a part of the recent Battery Expo 2024! Here’s to all the lessons learned and the growth along the way.
