That's the outdoor season over with for 2023 😊

Below are most of the hires from across the weekend.

As we move into hall season the chaos begins.

Some quick tips from us when booking inflatables for a hall hire.

1 - check the hall/venue allows inflatables and if so under what conditions, some request coverings put under the castle, most require proof of our insurance.

2 - Check the measurements, not every castle is the same size, some venues have lower ceiling heights and only specific castles will fit (We will do what we can to advise on this should we be aware of the venues height requirements such as Davis estate and bluebell village hall, only specific castles of ours fit these) also consider how much space you would require once the inflatables are in your venue.

3 - Allow plenty of time before and after your party, with hall season many parties are the same times (11-5 is peek times) , and so allowing atleast half hour accounts for the safe set up of the equipment aswell as half hour after your party to account for time cleaning and packing away the equipment.

4. Consider parking/access, most inflatable companies have large vans and access can be tricky for venues with limited parking.

5. When viewing a hall one key thing to look for is power, school halls/gyms can sometimes only have 1-2 power sockets, when hiring multiple inflatables they cannot be run off the same extention cable.

Saturday evening is now a yellow weather warning for rain. Alongside this the wind gusts are predicted to be above the safe limit.

We are aware that some hires are for Halloween parties however if the weather becomes unsafe we will have to collect the equipment earlier than planned.

We will be monitoring this throughout Saturday🌧️

Unfortunately the weather isn't on our side today.

With the persistent rain we have had this week combined with wind gusts predicted high and in some places across Medway being over the limit we have had to make the decision to not go ahead with outdoor hires.
This is never a decision we will take lightly but with very soft ground from all the rain and the wind gusts it's just not a risk we are willing to take.

Next Saturday we are fully booked and from there on there is 1-2 booking spaces left until November.

Reminder that hall season starts from October and no outdoor hires will be taken as of the end of October until march (weather permitting ☺️)

Our disco bounce & slide is already proving extremely popular.
With a super bright LED light that is reactive to music and a 10 inch speaker mounted in the back of the castle makes this the perfect addition at any party.

As we prepare for another busy weekend we wanted to re share our summer safety tips for inflatables once again ☺️

With the heat being unseasonably high we will be making a few changes for our set ups.

We will be setting up all inflatables in the most shaded areas of the outdoor space available, this is to keep the inflatable as cool as possible and for the reels to be in the shade.

All of our bouncy castles come with sun/rain covers built in, however the inflatable material can still be hot and so appropriate clothing is recommended.

Under no circumstances is water to be allowed on the equipment, it creates a slip hazard but also a safety hazard with the electricals being so close by, we appreciate you wish to have water fights in this heat but hosing down the inflatable, running on it while wet are all huge safety hazards.

please do not cut your grass the morning of your hire, this leave loose grass around which ends up all over the inflatables and makes cleaning them harder, even more so when wet.

Lastly, please be respectful to our staff who are out setting up and collecting the equipment, be mindful of the condition you leave the inflatable in at collection time too as our staff will be cleaning them at the end of your hires.

We are human too and this heat isn't fun to work in, please be mindful that all garden hires are set up in route order, not everyone can get the 9am slot, all garden hires will be set up as soon as possible in the mornings ☺️.
