SO many good faces and fun characters at the amazing wedding of Claire + Matthew at The Carlyon Bay Hotel. I recently bumped into Claire's lovely parents while drawing in the hotel lounge and we reminisced on what a fantastic wedding it was for Mr + Mrs Chapman. I met the fab couple at a wedding fair where I drew them, and that sealed the deal, so they were happy to spend the whole time I was at their big day focusing on the guests and letting them experience the fun and joy of live caricatures too! Thanks so much guys for having me.

- The highlight of my year, when 50+ Professional Caricaturists from across the UK, Europe + beyond meet in England for Drinking, Dancing + Drawing! ✍🏼

From the traditional Prosecco fuelled 🥂 first night at to the full day of artistic excitement at , to checking out of the gorge hotel in - this weekend (and my 4th Caricon) was everything I hoped and more.

All the colour portraits featured are my artwork, and the ones I am holding of myself are by fellow artists, all of whom are tagged ✨

So incredible to catch up with artist friends old + new.

We all share such a unique, weird job, yet we have no colleagues. So this annual meet up warms the cockles of the heart and fires up the creativity engines in the brain.

Forever grateful for my Caricature family! 💕

Thank you SO much to each and every one of you who took the time to nominate or vote. I am absolutely delighted to share that Cornwall Caricatures has reached the Regional Finals for The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 for ‘Special Touch’. Your support is so gratefully received. 🙌🏼💕

Only couples within a specific 12 month period were eligible to vote, and a whopping 93% of you did! 🤯 This is a figure I never imagined in my wildest dreams, as I know how busy life is, and how much admin comes with planning a wedding. The fact that my couples took the time to place a vote after the big day means so much to me.

OMG guys - I’ve only gone and bloody made the Regional Finals of ! 🤯😍🤩

This is my first time entering in 9 years of business, and I was over the moon that over 93% of my couples voted for me! 🥰 NINETY THREE PERCENT! 😱

I was told to aim for 90% which I thought was highly unachievable, given how busy all our lives are and knowing myself how much you want to forget the wedmin after getting married. 🙃 So the fact that the majority of the 56 couples whose weddings were in the eligible timeframe took the time to vote for me means the absolute world!

I had a bit of a rollercoaster🎢 of emotions this afternoon when the shortlist graphic went out with a caption that finalists had been emailed, but my inbox was empty. 😟 ✉️ I decided to check the website and discovered I WAS on there! 🥳 Due to a technical glitch I hadn’t received the email but I am very much in the finals and look forward to getting my Prosecco + Ballgown on next month for the finals at ! 🥂💃🏻

I honestly cannot tell you how passionate and obsessed I am with my business and the love and care I put into every wedding and event to vibe with guests, create a fun atmosphere and deliver caricature portraits that fill people with joy and laughter. So to get this recognition means everything to me.

Congrats to fellow Trispen/St Erme based business who have also made the regional finals. I know who I’ll be sitting next to at the ceremony! 💕

Also amazing to see 2 other wedding art businesses make their own regional finals - congrats + - hopefully we all make the nationals and can have a toast together 🥂
