This morning we hosted Wildanet for a breakfast team meeting at Inspired Motive HQ in Redruth 🥐☕

It was great hosting an inspirational team of South West business people and learning from their experience and expertise. We also got the chance to talk about our latest event, The West Country Business Show and what it can do for South West businesses!

August is a notoriously quiet month in business. 🌴☀️ Most people are spending time with their families, going on holiday or just taking a bit of a step back from their businesses for the summer months.

Although we've been busier than ever since the launch of The West Country Business Show and the success of our latest edition of The Care & Occupational Therapy Show, we decided we needed a bit of a face lift here at Inspired Motive HQ while we have a bit of spare time.

We're having a clear out, rearranging our furniture and giving everything a lick of paint. 🖌️

We are going from strength to strength as a company and want our office space to reflect that!

(The wine is part of an exciting announcement coming up on Monday- not a thirsty Thursday situation! 👀🤣)

The news is well and truly out now but we wanted to officially let everyone know that in 2025 we will be running two exciting events in one week!

We will be onsite at Westpoint Exeter all week in July 2025 bringing suppliers and customers together. We still have so many exciting announcements in regards to the new features and improvements we are bringing to our events but for now here are the official dates:

📅 The Care & Occupational Therapy Show will run on Wednesday the 16th July! 💙 💗
📅 Our new event, The West Country Business Show will run on Friday the 18th July! 🧡 💚

We are pleased to share that long-term business partner, Paul Webb, has officially joined Inspired Motive as co-CEO 🎉

Inspired Motive has acquired Velocity Events in a strategic move to create a powerhouse of experience and expertise in the events industry. Having worked together for over 5 years, we are confident that this move will be vital in growing Inspired Motive into the industry leader we know it can be!

An official welcome to the team, Paul. We can't wait to see what we will do together! 🤝

In fact, our first exciting announcement as a trio will come at the Your Partnerships Big Lunch in Exeter next week. Keep your eyes peeled, and if you're in the area come down to hear the news in person! 👀

Last Wednesday we were at Westpoint Exeter for The Care & Occupational Therapy Show and it really showed how months of hard work can pay off! 🥳

When putting on events like these, the biggest worry as an event organiser is that despite all the hard work, no one will turn up! 😨 But we well and truly smashed this one out of the park! The day started off with queues around the building and the whole day stayed busy with standing-room-only seminars, keynotes, live demos, and lots of business being done between exhibitors and visitors! 🤝

An ENORMOUS thank you to the whole Inspired Motive team for putting in 100% all year. From the sales team to the car parking attendants, the family behind this company is what makes it work so well. 💖

The sales team went out to play Football Golf on Friday as a well done for a record-breaking week! 🥳 The smallest member of the team also tagged along and showed the boys how it is done 💖

We got the keys to our second office, based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire yesterday! 🔑🥳

It's a working progress design-wise but nevertheless an enormous achievement for the whole Inspired Motive team who have worked tirelessly to grow the business from an idea into a successful exhibition company.

We launched during Covid into a hugely competitive market with some massive risks in our way because of the global pandemic. Today we are two offices strong with a portfolio of successful events and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who has worked to get us here.

On Friday the Inspired Motive team headed up to London for the EN Indy Awards at The HAC 🥳🎉

Although we didn't win, we did come second for 'Most Impressive Growth Trade Show of The Year'... Just to be nominated is a huge honour so to come second was an incredible achievement as a 2-year-old business launching events into a massively competitive market!

Thank you to the whole team and of course Matt and Ryan!

We might not have won but we certainly had fun!

It certainly was the 'Bravest Launch' bringing The Business Revival Series to The ExCeL only days after it reopened for in-person events following the COVID-19 lockdowns and without an established reputation- but the risk paid off!

The Business Revival Series experienced the risks and challenges of being one of the first in-person events after the pandemic and succeeded but 2023 is when we really kick off and show you exactly what we're about!

So far in 2022 we have left an incredible mark on the exhibition industry showing everyone exactly what we're capable of with 2 hugely successful events.

As a thank you and well done, Managing Directors, Ryan and Matt took the team to Zante for some well-needed R&R last week.

The guys from Big Box Creative Design came along too, who we have recently brought on to take our graphic design to new heights! We are thrilled to be working with them and can't wait to share the work we do together which is already looking amazing!

A huge thank you to the Inspired Motive team for all of their hard work to make the events happen- and from the team, a huge thank you to Ryan and Matt for leading by example!
